Robbie and Green will both overtake Tinie. :cheer: F.U combined is really close and Shame will rise + it has a lot of physicals and a few preorders. (and probably some more promo lined up here and there during the week).

Is Gary Barlow green? :o

Agree about lots of physicals & preorders of Shame. Plus, I think they will rise to top 3 on iTunes in a few hours. The battle is not lost, it still continues.

No! Robbie (with Gary) and (Cee Lo) Green will both overtake! ;)

I thought you were calling Robbie & Gary 'Robson & Green'

They're going to have to have a shedload of physicals to make any impression and be number 1 on Sunday. Their second version to download is actually going down on iTunes as well.

Yeah, I can see Shame ending up 2/3 definitely. Cee-Lo's song has #1 written all over it and I've felt this way since I very first heard it so hopefully it will fulfill its potential.

Be interesting to see how The Flood does for Take That, maybe JLS will manage to beat it? :o I do think that they're a bigger force than Robbie solo these days, his star has faded slightly since his peak about ten years ago. That said, JLS are a force like no other at the moment, singles wise at least - TT will wipe the floor with them in the album battle.

I don't know about JLS, they were invincible last year but all XF stars flare fast and extinguish soon. After 'the club is alive' I am a little terrified of what's next...

I think "Love You More" will have the biggest first week sales for JLS

X Factor performance, Children In Need Performance, Charity Single, the Battle against Take That, Big fanbase and the fact that its a much better song than The Club Is Alive will all boost its sales

I'm not sure if that will be enough to beat Take That though

The first airplay of The Flood is this Friday, 8th October over five weeks before its release. Assuming it'll be heard everywhere ... and the video will be on video charts for ages ... it'll burn out before release date (just as Shame has) and it'll be lucky to beat JLS. The only thing that can save it is for it to be a song on a par with Patience or Rule The World ... sadly ... I think those glory days are well and truly over for Take That. If Shame is a marker of things to come ... they've slipped quite comfortably into the cosy cardigans and slippers mould. Watch the youtube of Robbie Barlow's SCD performance and you'll see what I mean. The fans will see them financially secure until retirement though ... so all around are happy. They're just too 'old' sounding for me now.

You're right about the album ... but I doubt they'll have a number 1 in the singles ever again.

That can be said about a lot of songs though. JLS premiered their song on Friday and so people may get bored of that ?

The same with Tinie Tempah, who I'm sure starts getting video play at least 6 weeks + before his singles are released, but yet he still makes it to Number 1 with huge sales

Take That will have a lot of hype/press around them with Robbie coming back to the group too

The only advantage JLS may have is that they could get a performance on the Single release week, whereas I think Take That will get one when the album is released

I can't see them having both groups on the show in the same week

I think its the hype that will go against Take That. I've been a fan (only since 2005/6) but I'm sick to death of them now ... its all this Gary/Robbie love ... its so bloody boring.

I think Labrinth kind of halted the new entries because it was used on saturdays XF, so Gobbie will take a while to climb- I still think their physicals will guarantee them a top 3, although I think Cee-Lo will be number 1 overall- its a shame radio 1 will have to play the awful Forget You version next sunday :(

Kings Of Leon 12, they should get top 10 after all- especially as their physicals will be strong, it will be nice to see a rock band in the top 10 again :)

Shame  to 4

F**k You - #3

Shame - #4

Forget You - #9

Radioactive - #11

Perfect Stranger - #16

X Factor -

Cooler Then Me - #41

Cannonball - #46

Torn - #55

Creep - #76 (hanging around from last week :o)

Beggin' - #80

If I Were a Boy - #86

Massive clear out of top 10! :o

I hope Professor Green's 'Monser' makes top 40, currently at #45.

Plan B's 'The Recluse' is at #56.

I think both artists need to move on to next album..like them both :)

11th October:-

Joe McElderry - Ambitions

Michael Buble - Hollywood

Pixie Lott - Broken Arrow

Scouting For Girls - Dont Want to Leave You

The Ting Tings - Hands

Definitely a few top 10 contenders there on sunday..

Joe McElderry is a certainty for next week, the live shows start this week so Joe will probably be on- I think he will get it

Pixie Lott and Ting Tings should go top 10- not sure about Michael Buble and SFG yet

Not too keen on either song, but would definitely rather F**k you to be #1, and it looks like it will be.

I'm really glad Shame isnt flying ahead, one of the worst songs of the year.

Brilliant!!! :heehee:

 thanks- its easier than writing Robbie and Gary, like John and Edward= Jedward

anyway, their up to 3, maybe they will get number 1 after all- although Cee-Lo has a pretty good lead combined, they'll need good physicals
