Probably only the top 5 and LTWYL are guranteed a Top 10 place this Sunday, Katy B, Enrique, Alex G, Shontelle, Usher, Olly and Emma's Imagination, could all be either in or out the top 10. So Close! I reckon it will be the previous 6 I mentioned, plus Katy B, Alex G, Shontelle and Olly in the top 10 in that order.

Bob Marley's track was remixed by Funstar De Luxe too so you can add Denmark to that lists of countries. :D That is a great Europop top 10 - only tracks I didn't care for were Lolly (I'm guessing this was 'Viva La Radio'? :puke: ) and 'Bailamos' which was ok but nothing special.

Mickey actually. Lolly was just absolutely horrendous, I can't even say I liked any of her songs as guilty pleasures, I guess she was aimed at children but there were surely better acts around at the time for them to enjoy - Steps, S Club 7 etc...

Oh, and someone earlier mentioned Katy On A Mission is 'past its sell-by date'... it's only going into a 5th week top 10 which is fairly standard. Dynamite is also past its sell by date by that logic.
I think Katy B will get a 4th week at #8 in the official chart tomorrow :D
The Katy B song really is guff, the DJ Fresh one which is in a similar vein is infinitely better. Her new single with Magnetic Man is quite alright however...

I think that was me? I think what I meant to say was that 'Katy On A Mission' is not really going anywhere, and most likely to get another week at #8 tommorrow (similar situation to Usher & Pitbull) and because of that it feels like its been in the top 10 for a long time, considering that it's stuck at #8 while other songs overtake and drop behind it. It would of gone by now, if it had followed a normal chart run ^_^

There is no comparison between DJ Fresh and Katy B.Katy B makes you want to slit your wrists it is so bad.Great to see Bashy up to 53 with Fantasy, surprised he was not playlisted by R1.
When is Mike Posner released?

I didn't even know he was in prison. :P

I get the feeling you slightly disliked Katy B? Have you heard her next single, Perfect Stranger, with Magnetic Man?

On the topic of 'Perfect Stranger' the iTunes preview doesn't have any vocals in at all  Surely have some form of singing, considering there is singing on the track, would make it more sell-able

Hmm... fair enough.

Would you say the same about, say, The Veronicas' Untouched? 5 weeks top 10 with a peak of #8.

On another note, Perfect Stranger is Magnetic Man's second single, not Katy B's. Katy B is the featured credit.

Just listened to Perfect Stranger and no I am just not a fan of what ever that type of music is.It sounds like a very poorly done sub par version of Let me be Your Fantasy. The video is very good though.

It's called dubstep.

Perfect Stranger and MM's first single I Need Air are much closer to pop than dubstep though. Katy On A Mission is more dubstep but still pretty pop. A proper dubstep song would be, for example, Purple City by Joker.

Hmm... fair enough.

Or what about XTM's 'Fly On The Wings Of Love' from 2003? 11 weeks between 8 & 12 (8w in T10).

I wasn't really following the chart closely back then so I can't really judge that.

Yeah I know that! I was just saying the next song with her name on it was 'Perfect Stranger' with Magnetic Man, and not necessarily stating that she was the main artist.

And you missed my delibrate grammar mistake (of - have) remember! :P

I don't see any grammar mistakes in your post.

EDIT: Ok, yes I do now. I was looking at the wrong post.

I hope Alex will do 'a Shontelle' this week and stay in the top-10. Or maybe it will do a 'Katy B' and re-climb after the weekend. :P

Tomorrow Danny Byrd is released too by the way... Good luck for him.

what's with all the katy B hate? it's a good song!

This .

I hope Cee Lo releases this week actually, I really would like to see him at #1 as 'Forget You' is just lush. 'Written In The Stars' is good & by far Tinie's best song to date but I am sick of everything he puts out being a dead-cert #1 (Frisky only missed due to 'Shout' getting a release at the last minute). I also hope Labrinth's ' Let The Sunshine' gets the other top 3 placing to give us a whole new top 3, his song is great imo :D.

Also SceneofSixcrimes, I love your sig. 'Perfect Nightmare' is such a tune.

I'm not sure Labrinth will be able to overcome Bruno, Tinie definitely will, as will Cee Lo if he releases, but it's about 50/50 for Labrinth I think...

Is Labrinth even a dead cert for Top 10 the song is good but not great. He is so talented but it is so Maclean sounding.Tinie will definately take the top spot his is one of the best songs of the year.
