November 3, 201014 yr Now i am almost sure The Flood WONT make it to number one because of THIS: http://swns.com/take-that-and-robbie-willi...nce-031212.html Firstly that's 100% not going to work. Secondly how much more of a ripoff of Cage Against the Machine could that be? (The campaign to get John Cage - 4'33'' to Xmas #1)
November 3, 201014 yr I suppose I cant fault that- Its for a good cause still, I wouldnt say its a certainty for number 1 oh and isnt the Flood released this Sunday? why on earth are they performing on X Factor on their second week and not this week- I believe its Kylie and Shayne ward this week- I understand Shayne, but Kylie? Edited November 3, 201014 yr by chart wizard
November 5, 201014 yr so take that - progress is currently no1 on all the prerelease charts but how much do you think it will sell when its released on the 22/11.this is the date the biggest albums of the xmas season appear and the top 2 sell over 200k usually and the victor stays on the top of the chart usually until christmas!!
November 5, 201014 yr Didn't take that move theirs a week forward to avoid jls? Anyhoo, over 300k for tt (unless there's some weird robbie backlash though it'll probs go the other way). Jls over 200k the following week, neck and neck with TT. Westlife? Prob 100k ish, playing 3rd fiddle and dropping quicker What an xfactor week that'll be too, them all trying to out do each other!
November 5, 201014 yr highly doubt TT moved forward to avoid JLS. taking into consideration TT sold 400,000+ with their last album, i would guess 500,000+ easily taking into consideration JLS sold 230,000 with their last album, i would guess 150,000 give or take i don't expect westlife to be involved, particularly i think TT may hold the top spot for a second week with sales of 200,000 give or take

Surprised if tt didn't think they'd beat jls tbh. I agree tt may hold 2nd week, and whether or not u factor westlife in they are releasing and I've said they'll be 3rd so clearly I don't see them taking it either

November 5, 201014 yr the reason i have heard is that they have realised the anticipation of their fans annd want to bring everything forward so their fans get it sooner... That sounds like cheesy fake pr spin and even more doubtful than bbc! Source?
November 5, 201014 yr I think Take That will sell in between 400-500k, JLS will sell in between 150-250k, but they are on different weeks, so they'll probably both get a week
November 6, 201014 yr will be fascinating to see the sales.a tt vs jls week would have been great - with tt winning.both lead singles are very good - i expect jls to sell 250k or so again, love you better in the cin song this year and is a good/great ballad.both will drop down on their second weeks but then rise agin in december and xmas week itself.
November 6, 201014 yr Take That moved their release date due to high demand I think Take That will hold on to the Number 1 spot in the albums for more than 1 week, so JLS will probably end up at 2
November 6, 201014 yr Author Lol, what? Aren't they performing the week the album is released, same day as JLS are performing too. So this battle got even more interesting!! I knew they'd both get a slot anyway, but I thought they'd perform the respective weeks that their singles were released.

November 6, 201014 yr LOL as anyone recieved such an ass-whooping on a poll vote before. Well they would as it is obvious that Take That would beat JLS
November 9, 201014 yr So Rihanna could beat Take That this week, but I still have a feeling they could climb to Number 1 next week with all the hype/x factor performance etc.. Or people could possibly just be waiting for the album ?
November 9, 201014 yr So Rihanna could beat Take That this week, but I still have a feeling they could climb to Number 1 next week with all the hype/x factor performance etc.. Or people could possibly just be waiting for the album ? Rihanna's still selling really well on iTunes and then there's the release of 'Like A G6'. It would actually be hilarious if 'Like A G6' got to no. 1 in the singles chart next week purely because it would've got their without any X Factor performance and hype. Do I think Far East Movement have a chance? No :P
November 9, 201014 yr I like both Take That and JLS, but I hope JLS get no.1, they'll be ahead of Alexandra in no.1s then :D But mostly because I love the song. Edited November 9, 201014 yr by Ghetto Speak
November 11, 201014 yr IMO TT's first week album sales will be far higher than JLS's. I expect JLS to do up to 200k, but TT close to twice that!
