I would just like to state that I've always found Ga,u just average and not worthy of the hype she gets. But we're all speaking out about it now, because she's getting campaigns and $h!t made for her like she's a one woman Beatles or Michael Jackson or Madonna or something! She isn't all that great and if she isn't through, she isn't through. That's it.

She was clearly ill and had she actually managed to sing, she could have damaged her vocals for good! You could clearly tell she was ill! When will everyone give her a break, just because they're precious Gamu didn't get through! Blame Katie if anyone! She's cheating. She has a record contract already (why hasn't Simon done anything?), she fluffed up not once but TWICE and she's learly only in this competition so when she does release her material, she can official say she was in X Factor without being on X Factor. I don't care how big her voice is she will NEVER put a mark on the current UK music industry. Her voice was just too 1990's to be relevant anymore and she has the personality of a withered cactus. And the comments about Cher copying Cheryl? what a load of $h!t. Cher has stated that Nicki Minaj is her favourite singer and shes been singing rap songs all the way through the competition. Last time I checked, Cheryl doesn't rap. :|

The only people Annastacia would've got picked over would've been Raquel or Keri; so STILL wouldn't have got in. She needs to get over it ASAP.

but you've always stated you've not liked Cher and that's YOUR opinion :P. You've not just jumped on the "OMG Gamu didn't get through! We should burn Cher and Katie!!!!11!" Bandwagon like much of the public and a couple of people on here have decided too.

True :). I don't think much of Gamu anyway, I thought her performance of 'Make You Feel My Love' was very good but other than that, she was average at best.

 

Even with Rebecca I think she could fail if she doesn't pick up her confidence, I know it's not her fault and if I had her talent I'd be exactly the same. But I'm guessing the judges and public won't be so kind :(. It really isn't the strongest of years at all.

As much of a div and a bit of a hypcrite as Anastacia does appear in that article, I by far would have prefered to have seen her there over Cher and Katie, so yeah I think I'd be somewhat annoyed if a one-trick pony and a repugnant woman who seems determined to f*** up all her performances got through over me. And surely we can all realize that theres a strong chance she's been taken out of context here aswell?

I much prefer Keri and Treyc along with Rebecca as the final 3, they even sang better at the judges house, and you get 2 bad singers with second chances and they don't deliver, figure that. Why put 2 awful singers over Keri and Treyc is beyond me. Just because they are in the press getting most of the attention they think they can do better. The only talent Cheryl can see is her little finger and she can't even sing live on her own cough her performance on X Factor last year it was so out of tune. Go. Figure. Cheryl. :D

Yeah she reminds me of Leona a lot. I think it's a very good thing that she hasn't got a huge amount of hype around her at the moment. It worked for Joe, Alexandra, Leona and even Leon who all started off as just having good performances, not heavy praise from the judges and got through until the live stages where they got a huge amount of support. I'm hoping the same can happen for Rebecca this year :D.

No offence but Keri Hilson has hardly notched up a string of hit singles or platinum albums.The truth is Cher will always be an imitator not an originator of the style she tries too hard to copy.

I'm no fan of Cher's but I don't think she claims to be original, like Jonjo said, she's just unique to the UK where there aren't many female UK R&B acts at the moment.

I understand where you're coming from, but unfortunately most of them won't be big. :( Cher will be unique and different to the general public, of course she isn't completely original but she'll be different for UK's current mainstream success.
