Diana has just now changed the release date of My Wicked Heart to the 17th! Good as it will be released immidiatly and people won't forgot but bad because this means that MTV, Radio 1, 4Music etc haven't had time to playlist it and people to slowly see a new song by her. Hope it does well though. So aggrevating that The Ting Tings aren't breaking The Top. 30!!!! :(

Let's see, the song has been out for 21 hours, so assuming that the pop bars are proportional, that they are not weighted due to time, and that Joe would've sold constantly over the 48 hours (which we know wouldn't happen, because he'd sell faster once he's in the top 10).

 

So, if you get his pop-bars, and multiply them by 16/7, that's would be where we would expect him to be on Monday's midnight, depending on how accurate the assumptions are (in reality though, he'd be higher, due to the top 10 effect).

 

I do agree that he will benefit a LOT from X Factor though, because he's been getting barely any airplay. I don't know how well Lady Gaga singles would do with such little airplay.

 

Also, I think Katy will perform Teenage Dream, although I hope she performs Firework (I heard it on the radio a couple of weeks ago). I hope she doesn't do an Usher and perform California Gurls...

X Factor are just getting big stars on that havent been on the show before and have been big and current this year, she has an album to promote and will probably sing Teenage Dream which is still selling well, maybe even a medley like Usher did.

I think that having Usher on was a waste of space tbh as DGUFILA was released ages ago. It's probably because he's one of "Simons friends" that get slots all the time instead of other artists because they either weren't on XF or BGT or know Simon and will always be on the shows boringly and predictively! They could have got either Pixie Lott or The Ting Tings on instead

BuzzJack all year chart? :huh: The YTD (Year-To-Dates) are the biggest selling songs of the year so far (in the UK). It's not just BuzzJack stuff.

It was a medley, so not as bad as I thought. I just don't think there's a huge amount of sales he can get out of OMG though. However, it should go top 40 again, which is cool.
