I need to hear it properly loud before I decide. I definitely don't like it as much as Heart and I  but I think it could grow on me.

But you said some of the Bonus tracks are only on I-tunes?

That is correct Jups but I am sure soembody will have them on mediafire...I have a problem trying to load them

No worries. No doubt I'll get them soon enough.

Guess where I've been? For the first time ever? :o

I've been on the Official TT website. Thought I'd have a nosey in the forum to see what they think about The Flood. The comments are generally in favour but a lot of people think Robbie sings too much on it.

I wonder where these particular TT fans think this reunion is heading. Do they really think Robbie (with his Ego) is going to accept being relegated to backing vocals like in the old days? Times have changed. With his past success I'm quite sure he's only there on the understanding that him and Gaz will be sharing lead vocals. With the other 3 getting the odd lead vocal to sing here and there.

This might be the one and only chance for TT(Mark 2) to go massive throughout Europe and beyond. Having Robbie singing lead on the first reunion single will give them a lot more exposure than Gary or Mark singing lead.

I think for those TT fans (and there appear to be a significant number of them) who detest Robbie and don't want him there, the months to come may prove very uncomfortable. He's a loud, big headed, self absorbed bugger with an opinion on everything. I fully expect him to instinctively want to control the stage and take over interviews (like he did on Paul O'Grady tonight). Someone who has been a mega successful solo star for 15 years (in part because of his showmanship) is not suddenly going to blend into the background.

Interesting times ahead I suspect....

They'll probably all fall out again before the tour :P

I never said the flood was better than heart & I! ;) B)

I always knew you had taste :P

:o Jups had a flood in her kitchen, did your rug get wet.

All this TT v RW drives me absolutelty insane, I have no interest whatsoever in Take That & if Robbie is so bored right now that he wants to go off & play with them then the best of luck to him <_<

I&OOC represents everything that is Robbie Williams for me , the album is a fantastic body of work & I hope that he is very proud of it because he should be.

The Flood is an OK song but I think the download of Heart & I that is available on iTunes is far superior, the Flood for me is everything that Take That is as a sound & confirms for me why I am not a fan of their work Robbie or no Robbie

Just my opinion of course..... <_<

I liked Rule the World

I kind of agree with you tbh. I don't have much interest in the Reunited TT.

I was kind of wondering what we should do with this Forum over the next year. There already is a TT Forum on Buzzjack after all <_<

Maybe me and you and the other non-TT types should just hibernate for a year and hopefully emerge when/if he resumes his solo career. Or just reminisce about the old days.

As for all the Robbie bashing TT fans and TT bashing Robbie fans, I just don't care enough to get annoyed. <_<

It'll all end in tears I tell yee! :P

Aw !! Jeez Jups..don't close the Robbie forum or we will have nowhere to do our bashing & get it out of our sytem, that is the only way we can be happy indegestible people you know <_<

I love Robbie & the lads in TT are real nice guys as well, not their fault I am not that keen on their music....

having said that i do think that A Million love Songs is one of the best songs out there, i do really like it actually so good On Gary B for writing it..

the fans drives me nuts, why get so personal about everything, the 5 lads are gonne make a hell of a lot of dosh out of this & even of the fans do not agree at least they are talking about them so I am sure that the guys must be thrilled, nothing worse that indifference you know <_<

i love the flood and i have to agree, that it's 1000x better than Shame. But so far i still prefer Heart and I over The Flood. Maybe that will change when I'm used to both songs. But from the first listen-period Heart and I get the Edge.

Take That single with Robbie Williams gets good reception

After we previewed Take That's fab new single The Flood yesterday, Radio 1 gave the track its first airplay.

Ever since, Twitter, Facebook and online fansites have been deluged with listeners hailing it as the boys' best song ever.

Bookies have been quick to slash the odds on the quintet reaching No 1 with the song, out November 14.

Absoulutely adore the chorus, which is fundamentally much stronger than the verses. Anyway, heard the majority of it's premier on Moyles's show this morning and it's much more instant than what Greatest Day was. Definatly one of my favourites from them to date I'd Say :D

I agree ... the verses are the weak points ... the vocals just aren't there for me (from either Rob or Gary).

I don't care if it all ends in tears. I'm officially off Take That now (well ... not off with them ... just can't really be too bothered). Went to see a real band last night! Had forgotten how f*cking, sh/t-kickingly brilliant bass guitarist Mark King is! He drummed too ... eat your frigging heart out Phil Collins.

Why is this not getting many replies? :melloe: it's a fantastic song and deserves to be talked about just as much as The Sats latest single!

Now that I've had time to calm down ... I think my initial good feeling about The Flood was actually just blessed relief that it is better than Shame. It is OK ... but I don't think it warrants the eulogies being bestowed upon it. Some people (not on this forum) are saying its the best single since Shine! WTF? Patience, Rule The World anyone? The Flood doesn't come close.
