Just read that Pet Shop Boys originally wrote their #1 hit 'Heart' for Madonna! :o I could have seen that working tbh, it's quite similar to the music she was making at the time.

It was definitely a tone-deaf post. I am sure her intentions weren't to be snidy and shady but it came across like that. Pick your battles - you have fought for gay rights your entire career, let's celebrate and not make it about yourself!
