October 12, 201014 yr I think the final 5 will be Cher, Matt, Aiden, Rebecca and One Direction But as with every year I'm sure there will be a few shocks along the way. Another Laura/Lucie type elimination ? I hope Wagner leaves soon too.. Preferably next week

October 12, 201014 yr Cher will be there or thereabouts. She is actually probably the weakest vocalist, but she does have a huge fanbase, which will work in her favour massively. Plus a lot of the big UK artists are coming out in the media and supporting her, so that can't be not helping...Sabrina has the top 5 spot on imo. Dark horses are Paije and Storm though...don't be surprised if both of them do very well.
October 12, 201014 yr I'm still very puzzled about Katie. I actually prefer her to Cher ... not just vocally (Cher is one crap singer ... and I don't buy the 'frail' thing ... she's as hard as nails) but as a person. I really get the feeling Katie was parachuted in here by Simon and Sony with the sole intention of her being a hate figure to maybe last until about half-way through but with no serious threat of winning. I'd love it to backfire on him actually and for her to actually get into the final five ... if she did get that far ... and her singing merited it ... I'd vote for her over Cher any day. This is a moot point actually as I've never voted in X-F and don't intend starting. I still think her vocals were not very good ... even in the sing-off ... but you can tell there is something there. October 13, 201014 yr As much as I want Treyc to stay away from Big Diva songs I would love her to do the Jennifer Holliday And I am Telling You or Alone by Heart.I think she is one of the rare X-factor acts to have the range to pull it off.
October 13, 201014 yr Listening to the MP3 of "We are the champions", I find Katie's voice really enjoyable :o Her styling is over the top and her personality is bit MUCH, but she's got talent for sure.

I'm beginning to wonder if these claims of record contracts etc have just been bigged up by the X-F producers. I'm wondering if they had to fight that hard to get her out of it. Her voice doesn't indicate that she would have been that great. However ... I'd love it if she now managed to get stronger and stronger (there is the teeniest bit of something there in her voice for me). And ... it must be bloody awful for her going out each week knowing that people hate her. All the hate isn't at all fair either ... there was nothing she could do about the G***gate Affair. And if getting through is classed as being at fault ... then Cher is even more to blame. Cher is getting off lightly in all of this. If Katie manages to give a half-decent performance this Saturday ... I think I'm going to make her my favourite. Kath
October 13, 201014 yr Apparently, according to a newspaper article (so take it with a pinch of salt) but on Sunday night she almost didn't make it to her sing off performance because she went mad backstage complaining about everything they were making her wear...and saying that she just wanted to do the singing and not be whatever they want her to be.... If that is actually true I suppose I'd have a little more respect for her, whatever eccentricities Katie had to begin with....the x factor is probably trying to make them stand it even more than usual....

I read that ... they apparently wanted her to wear a tiara or head-dress of some sort and be plastered (in make up) up to the eyeballs. She said no and (the papers said 'demanded' ... I'd guess she just 'asked') the make up people to make her as natural looking as possible. Kath
