Support Act Confirmed: YELLE

French singer, might've heard the name before. But I'm kinda disappointed, as by looking at last.fm, there was a rumour that it would be Marina & The Diamonds. Gutted it's not :(

edit: I think they did a remix of 'Hot n Cold', and their 2nd album is due to be released in March, just in time for the tour. Don't sound too bad.

Will there only be the one support act?

If there is going to be a second, I don't know whether it's yet confirmed who it is. But I've not been to a gig in years, so I don't know what the norm is any more - do they normally have two?

When I went to see Lady GaGa she had two, Alphabeat and Semi Previous Weapons, but she has Lady Starlight now too, so 3.

My sister went to see JLS last week, and she said they had 4...

I think every concert has a different amount of opening acts, but I think the average is 2 or 3.
Marina will be back on the road again next year after bagging the support slot on Katy Perry's UK arena tour.

Don't know why last.fm would say that if they didn't have a source, hopefully it's true if artists normally have at least two support acts. But Marina's fans were complaining on her Last.fm page, saying that she's so much better than Katy -_- And then they were all celebrating when someone proved it false by giving the link where Yelle confirm they are the support act. Really, do they not know that Yelle & Marina could both be supporting Katy?

Went last night and she is just f***ING amazing. So much energy and interaction with the crowd. She is absolutely crazy. I was a bit disappointed she did all of TD bar 'The One That Got Away', but it proved she really can sing on the ballad/acoustic section. I was just in awe all the way through that she was so close  The atmosphere was fantastic also and I have never jumped or screamed so much in my whole life. Especially when she did 'Firework' :kink:

And Yelle were very eccentric. The frontwoman came out covered in like a bush or something. Their music is very hypnotic and not at all out of place with the current music scene yet the vocals are French and I saw lots of people struggling - even I did :/
