Robbie's greatest hits is indeed great and deserving of #1. The tracklist is strange in the backwards chronology, meaning that the majority of the best songs come in the second half of Disc 2 :lol:

 

I could have lived without ever hearing Rudebox again though. I'd managed to block from my mind the fact that it ever existed.

Robbie will easily have great sales this week.He has performed on Strictly the past two weeks and gave a totally mad performance of Rock DJ on Sunday.Surprised at Joe and Pixie but I am sure they will finish the week one place lower.

Its funny though Olly Murs got #1, poor Joe can't even crack it.

Yep - I just had a quick look back on first week sales so far this year and apart from Eminem's near 140K opening for 'Relapse' it is likely Rob will have the fastest selling album so far this year which is an amazing result for his second GH collection considering how huge the first was. Oasis's GH only sold 23K first day yet managed to sell over 100K by the Sunday so who knows what Rob will sell by Sunday with his. Could be even more than expected.

Olly Murs is a popstar though, he definitely should have one, he's really relevant now and is making good pop music at the moment.

Robbie ofcourse will be #1, he's got a big fanbase out there.

Glad tinie is still selling well, him and the script are going to be selling really well throughout the year i predict.

Expected pixie to do a lot better, but lucky to be in top 10, i wonder where she'll be by sunday..

The Rudebox album has a number of fantastic tunes, hence the critical acclaim it received from proper music mags and broadsheets but the song itself , Ivor Novella nominated or not, is a bit of a p*** take let's be honest. It has some amusing lyrics but is not one of his better singles. I still prefer it to 'Shame' though. :)

On singles, Cee-Lo Green’s Forget You (Warner Bros) looks likely to top the chart again this Sunday, although Duck Sauce’s Barbra Streisand (3 Beat/AATW) is not far behind it, while Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are (Amazing) [Elektra] and Joe McElderry’s new single Ambitions (Syco) are both selling strongly.

What happened to the obligatory 2 minute UK Radio Edit? Surely they haven't given up on this idea after their mauling of We No Speak Americano attracted approximately no buyers on iTunes? One can hope :w00t: Leaving it over 3 minutes must be killing them but this time it's the radio edit that's selling more than the club mix so it clearly worked.

I just hope Cee Lo Green gets a second week at #1, Duck Sauce will have to wait until the following week, physicals will give the track a bit of a nudge. I just hate the weekly turnover of the #1s. If Duck Sauce goes to #1 it be the 30th #1 single this year :o

His song had longer though, I remember it being on music channnels and radio about 5 weeks before the release and he was on Alan Carr talking about his new single. Joe's single only premiered on the internet about 2 weeks ago and I have only seen it on the music channels twice and once on radio. An X Factor performance can do wonders but only if its backed up with airplay. Also Olly is more contemporary than Joe and knows what his style is. Joe has a better voice and thats why he won X Factor but that doesnt always matter in the market.

I think Alexandra's BB is the last physical single I bought, don't thing that Ambitions is as catchy or as well sung, but am surprised that it is this low, as the X Factor effect isn;t kicking in yet perhaps it will for Cheryl. Although, Promise This isn't my favourite from her either.
