Drake? Nicki Minaj? B.o.B? All new on the mainstream scene and all more of an 'artist' than Ke$ha!

B.o.B would probably deserve to win that then, but Drake and Nicki are much bigger in the US than the UK.

And does anybody think the bridge sounds like something from the E.N.D?

You can't honestly think that Ke$ha of all people deserves to win Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Video etc?

I find her album more enjoyable than many from this year. And she is one of the few artists to have had 4 singles from a debut album hit the top 10. TiK ToK currently holds the record for a highest single week sales of 610,000 for a female artist and shes second for all time with Right Round being first and wasnt she featured on that? And TiK ToK has now sold over 5 million in the US and around 500,000 in the UK. For a debut artist I think thats more than most of the artists you mentioned.

Agreein' w/ Jark on this one bar liking some of the songs on her debut. Not that the Grammy's are any indication of artistic talent but plsss.
We R Who We R is EPIC. I read someone on the PopJustice call it Tik Tok part 2, BUT BETTER - which I agree with.

What exactly is an "artist"?

"One, such as an actor or singer, who works in the performing arts."

This of course is just one of the many definitions that can define the word. However she is just as much of an artist as the ones you listed. She has writing credits on her entire album... and though she mostly touches base on partying and material possessions it is just as much art as Nicki Minaj singing about how she thinks it's time for her to put her p*ssy on your sideburns.

Does Nicki Minaj only sing about sex? No. Would you still consider her an artist?

If you said yes, then why not Cashew?

I love Nicki and Kesha, just to put that out there. B.O.B. (minus one or two tracks) and Drake suck herpes taint, in my humble opinion. EACH TO THEIR OWN. Now you can say I would MUCH prefer [insert artist here] to make the short list. But you can't just wipe out an artists credentials because you don't think their output is sufficient.

The thing I don't get with the Grammy's awards is that they have a "record of the year" and "song of the year" category. What is the difference?

Record of the year: Singer & Producer

Song of the year: Song writer

I don't really like it... :( Do you know if they've done a new version of it for the re-release or are they keeping the Japanese Bonus Track version?

^Not sure tbh, they are supposed to be new tracks so I wouldnt be surprised if it was a different version

Good. ^_^ I wasn't going to buy the re-release but because there's 9 new tracks, i will. :D I think i'll get it for Christmas...

There's so many new albums coming out in the next 2 months that i really want, i've got a list of about 10. :drama:

Wow, didn't expect it to be that good. Next to that, it's probably the first single by Ke$ha with remote meaning :P It's just a shame it's digital download only again.
