I loved Cher at the beggining of the series. Her audition and Bootcamp performances :wub:

But ever since then.. It's gone downhill for me. I want her to have a killer performance like her audition again and then maybe I will start to like her again

 

I hate how they keep making out as if she comes up with these ideas. Jay Z came up with the idea to sample Annie.. not Cher

They did the same thing at bootcamp saying she wrote her own lyrics, but it was infact a Swizz Beats song that she combined with Coldplay

 

Its pretty obvious that this year Simon is pulling out the stops for a Cher win.Most of it seems to involve a loud backing track, backing singers and not much attempt at singing from Cher.Really hope she is the first of the girls to go.

I think apart from a definitive genre of singing then we must assume that for any other theme ... such as Musical Heroes and Guilty Pleasures ... they mean those of the mentors/judges.

Buzzjack is actually making me hate Cher even more.

OOI, how? :unsure: She's easily the most unliked here. She's very marmite and you will either love her, or hate her. If anything Buzzjack have made me dislike Rebecca more... not just saying that coz I know you're a fan, but her performances have been disappointing and not as good as people have made them out to be. I know about 3 buzzjack members that probably love Cher, just as much as me, but she definitely has a hell of a lot more people hating on her... so I really don't know how Buzzjack is making you "hate" Cher that bit more... but each to their own I guess. :P

It's not buzzjack I guess, it's most of the internet, but people who like seem to orgasm over her and think she is some original talent, when infact she is just a Cheryl Cole puppet who the producers are putting their efforts into the most who is in fact a one trick pony with the whole stupid rapping thing and the completley flat singing covered by a stupid amount of backing singers. But yes, each to their own :heehee:

Christ, I'm glad Katy Perry wasn't facing a public vote, because after her downright painfully awful and off-pitch performance on Sunday, she'd have been joining Storm Lee and the 2 irritating camp ones..... that has to be XFactor's worst ever live performance....ouch.

Hardly surprising given the huge ratings. I`d like to see them expand the group section to bands who play instruments - then perhaps we may get some credibility and not be landed with people who have never sung together in their lives (and badly) :rolleyes:

I really have no opinion of Matt at all. He's incredibly dull and nothingy, and frankly I have no idea why people have him as their favourites. It's all very 'meh'.

There willl be a double elimination for another 2 weeks, because then the numbers will be right. If it was a live show of 12, at week 5 there'd be 8 left. Since the live show is 16, there has to be 4 weeks of double eliminations to also make week 5 have 8 people, and thats the earliest possible point it can balance out.
