i know haha seen her in the papers on ebay saleing her album hard times for her when you have to go on ebay to sale your album haha

I dont see anything wrong with that. Its just the same as going on Daybreak or This Morning to flog a single/album. Ebay would probably get more visiitors than those shows get viewers anyway.

Why is it desperate though? If you can get more people aware that you have an album out on ebay than on a TV or Radio show then surely ebay is the better option. Plus, the fact the newspapers reported it is just extra publicity.

She's such a silly woman, she has every gossip magazine at her finger tips. If she wants to sell the album, use that. No bother going to a site which people use for bargains and rarities. I didn't think she cared about commercial success?

The album isnt commercial anyway. Its kind of folk music which isnt anywhere near mainstream. Ive heard two songs from the album and its very bland and not my cup of tea at all.

 

Hopefully, the lack of success that this album brings will make her next album more mainstream and get her back to releasing tracks like "Crazy Chick" and "Call My Name".

Anyway, it's almost impossible to compare PT to FFTL. FFTL was so successful it was unreal.

Surprised how low Aretha is considering the Slow EP got to #1 on iTunes Albums...

That wasn't a surprise, I wouldn't have even known it existed if it wasn't for this site...

I was surprised when I saw her on Graham Norton plugging the album. I was aware that she was releasing new material, but managed to miss the actual release altogether. It goes to show that being in the papers isn't always good for promoting music.
