Bit early to say that. Lets wait untill radion picks up, the video is on tv and the physical release.

It's best to ignore him, he always overreacts and exaggerates like that.

A good start, now we need a decent video and decent airplay for a Top20 hit.
I am so dissapointed by this single choice. Wouldn't Too Much be a far more suitable choice!?

YES. hell YES. finally SOMEONE agrees with me.

it's very winterish imo, for some reason when I listen to it I think of snow :kink: it's also the kind of pop that you'd see in the chart nowadays. and it's the best on the album, imo. :D

Everything Is Beautiful would be much better than BTT and Too Much :P
I don't think either of those three would be amazing single choices, despite one of them now being it. I really like 'Everything Is Beautiful' but it's strictly an album track, 'Too Much' is nothing special.
'Cupid Boy', 'Closer', 'Too Much' and 'Aphrodite' are the songs left on the album that I think could be the only ones to trouble the top 30 at least. 'Better Than Today' (as decent a song it is) is not 2010 single material. 'Closer' would get some brilliant, remixes I reckon. Particularly from some acts like Deadmau5 or even Skream remixing the song.

Aphrodite and Closer are the one 2 songs thats stand out as single for me.
Kylie is the biggest physical seller out there and sells enough to always be on the brink of the top 20 on physicals alone.

Yes, true, but in a day and age where digital sales dominate the market, physical sales are counting much less and no longer guarantee her a top20 position. I strongly suspect that better than today will achieve her lowest ever charting position to date. Not because its a bad song cos I love it but because the market has changed and issues around poor promotion of the song.

For me it's 'Aphrodite' and maybe 'Cupid Boy'.

I like Cupid Boy but her vocals really annoy me on it.

Physical sales are very low but it doesnt effect established artists like Kylie, Madonna etc as much who have always been a physicals artist. The hardcore fans will always buy them as long as they are available.

I think it has had an impact on Kylie. She hasnt had a no1 or no2 single since I believe in you, which is quite some time ago but she was no1 on the physicals chart alone with All the lovers and In my arms.

Its obv impacted everyone but at least Kylie is still guaranteed a top 20 at the moment with physicals added where with most acts it doesnt make any difference.
