The Police were called after 30-40 protesters were outside Rooney's house with a banner saying "sign for City and you're dead"

Ffs -_- Oh well! It worked for Steven Gerrard

New five year contract agreed now...LOL, god the guy is such a c**t!!!

As long as Liverpool don't get relegated, can see the famous Manc song being sung adopted by Liverpool and the rest of the league...

Wayne Rooney, Rooney,

He kisses the badge on his chest,

Then puts in a transfer request,

Wayne Rooney, Rooney...

180k a week apparently...what a twat!!!

Honestly don't know who comes off worse from this. Fergie looks like a w*n**r for giving in to massive player power, Rooney looks like a w*n**r for throwing his toys out of the pram, the majority of fans look like w*n**rs for calling him a 'fat scouse bast*rds' and wanting to kill him, and the Man Utd playersall look like w*n**rs as they'll now be playing on the pitch as the same guy who said they weren't good enough to be on the same pitch as him LOL. Don't know who will come off worse. But despite all this I still think Rooney will do a Ronaldo in a year or so...

Overpaid, overrated, sleazy, scummy, feral, rancid, cheating, chav c**t.

I'd far rather the fat lump of $h!t had f***ed off, he's a feral bogan with too much money

Well I knew he'd see sense in the end hence why I just got pissed off at our fans and made a joke about it.

Anyway all the crap this week though is most likely due to Paul 'I'm a f***ing c**t' Stretford (his agent) who likes putting ideas into his and his other clients' heads! *sigh* Anyway at the moment he's still clearly not fit at all and is showing .signs of a Gazza style breakdown! I wish he'd stop being so keen to play when he clearly can't and he just sorted himself out! I don't care about him 'banging the goals in' necessarily to make up for it, Ijust care about him just being the Wayne Rooney we all know and love who just plays for the team then I'll stand by him (again) and we can forget this whole time since the Bayern Munich game earlier this year as that's where it all started turning into a disaster.

He's much more important than the likes of Ruud and Beckham were at the time those sagas happened but this is just a case of the fact that Fergie needed to get this sorted out NOW and put this $h!t behind us.

I can't see why ANY Man Utd fans would forgive him? He's just been an UTTER c**t. The only way Man Utd will get out of this is if Rooney has agreed to sign a contract so Man Utd get a bigger fee come next summer, or in 2012. I have no idea what the Glazers have promised but if ANY Man Utd thinks everything is rosey with their club then they are wrong. There is no way Man Utd can afford 180k a week for ONE player, i'm sure that equates to 10m a year without bonuses, sign-on fees and all that extra bull$h!t.

You all probably think i'm deluded but i've seen it with Hicks and Gillet, and the Glazers are EXACTLY the same. When was the actual last time Man Utd were in for a big player, genuinely? I don't think ever since the Glazers have been there. They've leeched off the club and will contine to do so. I am sure in the first place Rooney wouldn't sign a contract in the first place cos he couldn't get what he wanted, so this debacle has happened and now look at his pay packet... which I am 100% the Glazers cannot afford. It gives me no pleasure saying this to football fans, but the decline of Man Utd will soon fast come about.

For Man Utd fans sake i'd hope another granny prozzie story comes out soon as the PR for the club at the moment is f***ing awful.

I agree with you about the Glazer's Roo, but I seriously don't think Rooney is a c**t at all. Like Nicky said, it's quite clear all is not right with him, and I can easily see him going the way of George Best/Gazza... He has been a little bit of a dick in the way he's gone about it perhaps, but it's almost understandable.

I f***ing hate United fans who are jumping on his back like he is the new Tevez, when you just know the majority of them are fickle twats who will be wanting to suck his cock again when he scores against Chelsea.

With the wrong manager Rooney could easily go down the Best / Gascoigne route. I think he's less likely to do that under Ferguson. For me, the villain in all this is Rooney's agent Stretford. He clearly initiated this and some of the statements attributed to Rooney clearly didn't come straight from his mouth.

As far as I'm concerned Football "agents" have destroyed the sport, in fact, agents, money and commercialism has destroyed the sport. The amount of teams you hear about going into "administration", or being threatened with it these days, is alarming.. Look at Liverpool, no way a team with a history like that should need bailing out in that manner... The players, their agents and their ridiculous wage demands is what's bringing football to its knees...

Wayne Rooney's a c'unt, but, really, he's no worse than any of the others.. But he did have a bloody nerve criticising England fans for being disloyal during the world cup, when it's clear he IS just a mercenary himself and has no loyalty to his club at all beyond what they pay him...

I find Rooney quite attractive lately. I dont know why

Actually Liverpool (and Manchester United) going into administration was nothing to do with the wage demands (as they're two of the few clubs who CAN actually offer that kind of money within their own means. They both went into debt due to stupid Americans using a loan to buy the club and putting the loan ON THE CLUB. However I do agree with what you said in general as yes some clubs have done that.

Rooney was all the fault of his agent putting ideas in his head, considering what Paul Stretford did with Andy Cole I wouldn't be suprised if he set this up to make a bit of money himself, not that Wayne biting the carrot he was dangling lets him off. I think he knows for sure now how stupid it would be for him to leave United but even with Sir Alex Ferguson's guidance (if they make up at all as this new contract maybe used just to put his value up) I still think he's gonna have a Gazza style breakdown soon.

He will be half the player he is now, before he has reached 30 imo. He started playing playing too much, too young. The evidence is out there that it is not good for you as a player when you got older, as these players are definitely more injury prone...

Well... Michael Owen comes to mind. I wonder if the likes of Lennon, Fabregas, Wilshere, Walcott etc. will be the same.

But Giggs and Scholes seem to be massive exceptions though.

Giigs first season in the first team he was 18, Scholes didn't make his debut until he was 19. Rooney was a vital part of Everton before he was 17. Those two years probably do make a fair difference...

To be fair as well, Scholes and Giggs didn't have the pressures on them that a lot of players do well (probably from 98 onwards really). I'm sure if Scholes had not retired from international football when he did, that he might have retired full stop by now. And Giggs is just a model professional, he looks after himself very well and knows his constraints.

Hmm, the fact that he's "earning" 250k per week isn't the motivating factor then Shell...?

Giggs had a lot of pressure and media attention because of his good looks. Fortunately for him Ferguson was a very protective manager.

Fergies interview pretty much said it all

He has refused to sign contract is there for himNo problems with Fergie and RooneyFergie has looked after him and helped him achieve his potentialA club with history and trophiesA club always fighting for all cups both domestic and europe.

You could see that Fergie feels hurt and betrayed and I cannot understand why he would want to leave.

IMO there is only one other club that he can go to that might emulate United and that is Chelsea but would they offer £50mill?

Rooney has indeed gone nuts and really needs to think about what he is doing to his career.

I really dont mind us selling him if we get the correct fee that is deserved
