I guess Poker Face is my least favourite out of those left. It's just so boring, and generic, and has an interesting similarity to Start Without You by Alexandra Burke.

Don't agree about 'Poker Face', when it was released, I don't think it was generic by any means. All this sound came on the wave of its success...

Well, it took me a couple of months to distinguish between Just Dance and Poker Face, so. :lol:

 

Plus, I've heard more songs sounding like Just Dance and Poker Face from before 2009 than after 2009. There's In My Head by Jason Derulo, and Bad Romance and Telephone. That's all I can think of.

 

Poker Face was so successful because it was generic. Pretty much everybody liked it, and the fact that it sampled Boney M helped it too.

Well, I wasn't comparing them due to quality, because I absolutely love Start Without You, and I find Poker Face quite mediocre.

 

I was referring to the fact that both are influenced by Boney M songs, but other than that, they are quite different. :lol:

 

This is just my opinion though. Clearly a lot of people like Poker Face.

 

I Gotta Feeling is also very generic, but I prefer it because it contains better use of a sample Poker Face does, it deviates from the standard verse/chorus/bridge sturcture, which is something, and it sounds more different to the other singles from The E.N.D than Poker Face does to the other songs from The Fame Monster.
