Checking the iTunes Top 100, 2:46 and above 90 second preview, anything less than that is 30 seconds.

It's up to #9...

It's possible the iTunes chart bug was present for that chart position, as I have it at #12.

How did Lil Wayne get to number one? Bruno Mars rightfully had the position go Bruno! Haven't heard 'Black And Yellow' but it'll probably be a hit here unless its country. T.I will flop over here what's he done recently apart from going to jail. Go Edward Maya, it's come really late but would like to see it in the top 10 so that Americans get introduced to europop and dance. If this is a hit then maybe Tinie Tempah can hit America with 'Miami 2 Ibiza' then he'll be even huger than he is now!
Introduced? You make it sound like this is the first time a European dance song has crossed over to the US. It happens at least once every few years - Snap!, Real McCoy, La Bouche, Eiffel 65, DJ Sammy, Cascada etc. - and very rarely does it lead to much (though there was a minor surge of interest in the early-to-mid 1990s, I suppose). So I wouldn't get your hopes up, if I were you.

By being Lil Wayne. New Lil Wayne singles never fail to top US iTunes. It'll fall off #1 in 2-3 days.

And DHT! First time I heard of their cover of Listen To Your Heart was when I almost fainted upon learning that there was a Belgian dance hit residing in the Billboard top ten  Although I'm not sure quite how heavily the ballad version was promoted over there, and if it helped it get the top ten. Cascada have had a few US hits actually haven't they? :o I seem to remember Evacuate The Dancefloor lingering around the lower end of the US top 40 for weeks on end last year.

Evacuate The Dancefloor is still in top 300 on iTunes, currently #286. :o

Yeah, DHT as well. Although like you said, there was the ballad version. Might have been the same situation with DJ Sammy and the Candlelight Mix. Can anyone from the US confirm?

I've just remembered Technotronic, too, who had 3(!) Billboard top 10 hits between 1989 and 1992 :o
