Take That are gonna be on X Factor and Children In Need the same time as JLS, and they have their documentry next weekend too, so I reckon all that will be enough to hold JLS off the top of the charts for TT to have a 2nd week at #1.

McFly and Shayne are doing well - all things considered. Hope Shayne ends up top 5 after tonight

I wonder if Nadine's album will make top 40 this week? I really hope it can.

In the Daily Record it said she had sold 9,000 copies of her single on Thursday. So i'm thinking Insatiable sold 10-15k. Probably no.30.

Wow, big gap for different starts... I should be surprised at P!nk but haven't even heard the song yet so it was slightly inevitable it wouldn't be a huge smash with minimal promotion. I really thought MCR wouldn't do a Linkin Park though, "Na Na Na" is at least climbing very quickly though so top 40 won't be a problem. Top 20 would still be an underachievement tbh.

03. Take That - The Flood

14. Mcfly ft Taio Cruz - Shine A Light

35. Shane Ward - Gotta Be Somebody

45. Pink - Raise Your Glass

77 & 83. Gyptian - Hold You

McFly #13, Shayne #34, Pink is accelerating - #38, Gyptian #69 and 80, My Chemical Romance now top-100 at #100.
I just listened to a clip of SHayne's song for the first time and it doesn't sound like anything special at all but I guess if he's performing on the X Factor it'll rise high.
Yet another McFly single that'll drop to #33 the other week...

I'm glad it's looking like Take That taking no.1, finally a consecutive line-up of great #1's, it's been a while.

A quick climb for TT. And with NO XF performance... It looks as if they are heading for well over 150K. Also no1 airplay... for me there is now a big possibility that the Flood holds no1 for a second week with the XF performance. (if huge album sales don't devour their single sales)

Anyone know how well Children In Need singles tend to send?

I think it will be a 50/50 chance on who will get to number 1 next week

Take That and JLS both have Children In Need and X Factor Performances

The difference between them is that it will be JLS first week sales and Love You More being the CIN single vs. Take Thats Second week

Not a lot of new entries next week, Adele will climb again inside the top 10, with just 4 new entries, and looks like TT are going to bag #1 for a fortnite at least until the X Factor Charity single comes out.

Er, there are 7 new entries...

TT, McFly, Shayne, P!nk, Gyptian, MCR and Royal British Legion...

McFly's popularity bar looks odd, haha! I hope they hurry up and get in the top 10. I'll be happy then.

Really glad Take That are heading for number 1- that song is great and so are they!

Pink underperforming doesnt surprise me- I've heard it nowhere, promotion is important, even if your a big name

I think JLS will best Take That next week- XF performance, charity etc.- although I suppose it depends how much TT sell this week

I don't know why everybody has been saying that P!nk & McFly have had no promotion, I've seen the video twice and heard the song twice for both of them! Anyway great to see Take That so high, as expected, but I really do like this song and I normally hate most their songs.

Also, I thought that Matt was completely messing up his lyrics, thinking that it was The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face, but now I see differently  Still hate him with a passion though :arrr:

I reckon that Take That will get a second week at #1, what does everyone think of Westlife's chances?

Apart from Peter Kay's last year, all singles from 2005 onwards have underperformed. Girls Aloud got #1 for 2 weeks with 'I'll Stand By You', but (due to the then current climate) it's only sold over 200k altogether.
