In January 2009, Vickers began working on her debut album, but she laboured over the album for more than a year without any releases to show for it. In April 2010, Vickers finally released her first single, "Once," which debuted on the U.K. singles chart at number one. The album Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree was released less than a month later and debuted at number one as well. As a contributor, Vickers also reached number one alongside her "X-Factor" co-finalists on the Christmas 2008 number one single "Hero." - HMV Video here: MOaM8L4KeYk track listing 1. October 31, 201015 yr I think it's fair to say that Diana Vickers won't reach album number 2 (and if she does, no-one will really care)
October 31, 201015 yr I think it's fair to say that Diana Vickers won't reach album number 2 (and if she does, no-one will really care) To be honest I don't care
October 31, 201015 yr does this have a chance of staying t40 this week with physical release? yeah, it could- probably a small climb though
October 31, 201015 yr Shame for Diana, I actually quite like it. ^_^ She deserves better than that. -_-
October 31, 201015 yr To be honest I don't care I do. She will get a second album anyway, that's pretty much certain but whether it'll do at all well is another matter...
October 31, 201015 yr Meh, I'm pretty sure Diana will have an album no.2. However, being a Diana fan a few years back, I am going to say I grew a bit tired of her... shame.
October 31, 201015 yr 30 (from 24) The Script - For The First Time [D] http://a1.phobos.apple.com/us/r30/Music/85/27/bc/mzi.zhuufpgv.100x100-75.jpg Chart Run: 5-4-4-7-12-18-24-30 [8 wks] Release date: 03-09-2010 Format: download only track Label: Sony Formed in 2001 in Dublin, Ireland, the Script consists of guitarist Marc Sheehan, vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, and drummer Glen Power. The trio takes their soulful, Celtic-inspired sound from artists like Van Morrison and U2, but Sheehan and O'Donoghue's former work as producers (working with the likes of the Neptunes) gives the Script a unique, contemporary sound flavoured by dance and R&B influences. An EP appeared in 2007, followed by the successful single "We Cry." The band's self-titled full-length debut appeared in 2008, and went straight to the top of the U.K. charts. - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2008 15 We Cry 2008 02 The Man Who Can't Be Moved 2008 21 Breakeven 2009 47 Talk You Down 2010 04 For The First Time Discussion Thread Here
October 31, 201015 yr Meh, I'm pretty sure Diana will have an album no.2. However, being a Diana fan a few years back, I am going to say I grew a bit tired of her... shame. It was the opposite for me, I didn't like her at all on X-Factor but since 'Once', the album and seeing her live and meeting her she's came into her own for me.
