APPARENTLY, according to 4Music, Treyc got 3 times the votes than Katie did.

I can believe that and I imagine that is why it was not taken to deadlock. The show is a farce and a fix, Katie is not interesting in the least, as if singing like a drowning cat is interesting.Wagner to win and be the face of X-factor USA.

I wonder if Cheryl would have abstained if Louis had voted to save TreyC?

Kath

Cheryl didn't want to abstain - she said she wanted to be the last to save and she would have taken it to deadlock

It's not Elton John week is it? Take That, Westlife & JLS are on next week and I swear Simon said it was boyband week...

It was Dermot O'Dreary that annouced it was Elton John week

Guys, these song choices are way too farfetched :P They're never going to have mediocrely known songs in X Factor, it's always the obvious :P

Surely Cher will be doing 'Ghetto Gospel'?

I somehow doubt Trey-C had that many more votes than Katie. I still believe that Trey-C would have been gone had it gone to deadlock. Wasn't Trey-C bottom in those DigitalSpy spoilers? Which seemed pretty correct these past few weeks.

A part of me does think Treyc got more votes than Katie though (perhaps not 3 times more or whatever but the numbers arent the important part) because otherwise why was everyone so unwilling to go to deadlock (which is what would have happened had Cheryl been given her vote).

Shall be interesting at the end of the series though to see how they actually fared. The show needs/wants Katie to stay in for as long as possible (presumably in an attempt to lower the UK population by making people commit suicide just to escape her horrible existance? No? Too far? Fine, I'll shut up).

They should stop this whole save/send home routine.

They should just go off the viewers votes like they do on AI, it's the fairest way.

I wouldnt believe that- tbh all leaks atm should be taken with a pinch of salt- they may get some of it right- but no leak has ever been 100% correct

that leak on DS may be getting it right- but Im still sceptical, its not that hard to predict after all

Not going to be good for Dermot :heehee: But I'm glad we've like, had some sort of official confirmation on it all. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Dermot was told to say that by Cowell, to get people watching and stuff. Although Dermot does seem like the sort of guy that will spill the beans once he gets axed and stuff. Piers Morgan's Life Stories beckons for him!

I did think it was a little strange that they made Cheryl vote so early. Usually if one act of hers were in the bottom 2, then she'd be one of the first to vote, but when both of her acts are in the bottom 2, aren't they always last to choose? I'll apologise for saying I'm sure that it was Trey-C who would have gone anyway had it been deadlock etc... but I don't know why people are wasting their time complaining and stuff when neither Trey-C or Katie are ever going to win.

The only four that I think have a chance of winning are Matt, Rebecca, Cher and One Direction.. Possibly even Aiden if he has another killer perfomance like Week 1

The rest will all leave within the next few weeks, so as Jonjo said people should stop complaining

I'm not really a fan of Katie or TreyC, but imo TreyC is nothing original and didn't really stand out, whereas Katie did for me. It is obvious neither of them are popular though, so Katie will probably be gone soon. I suspect that they are simply trying to keep Wagner and Katie in until the final 8 at least, so they are able to go on tour

I feel sorry for Cheryl...

The scenario going through her head was obviously:

"I show my preference to one of the acts. The judges may eventually send this girl away... and the bond I have with the girl I voted off won't be the same afterwards."

Cheryl had every right not to vote... it was the production's fault, not hers.

I really don't understand why Dermott did that last week-end.

Cheryl distinctively said to ask her after the other judges' votes and she'll send the girls to deadlock. Which is quite fair, the other judges are never asked first when both of their acts are bottom 2.

I initially thought they were running of time so Dermott didn't bother coming back to Cheryl. But it was obvious people would complain after that.

And I wouldn't see the point in fixing it so Katie stays. She's been bottom 2 several times and it's obvious she's not gonna win the show, and won't even be a finalist, so why would they bother to save her ?

And about time too :P All of Girls Aloud are presenting the award tonight, no? I will be measuring the distance between her and Nuhdeen with a tape measure.

I agree that she was in a no-win situation though. About the vote, not the pie :kink:

That would have to be a very long tape measure because Nadine didn't attend
