November 8, 201014 yr Both Louis & Simon got it wrong this week. Kim Wilde's Kids In America is not an American Anthem. But Louis got it wrong saying it wasn't a hit in the US. It was - it peaked at #25 I just can't see what people see in the dirty old tramp WAGNER. :puke2: Let's see how they ruin Elton John week I'd love to see Rebecca sing Rocket Man  Edited November 8, 201014 yr by euro music
November 8, 201014 yr isnt it odd though- week 5 and ANOTHER controversial exit- thats three years now :o I think a better word for it is 'controversial exit' rather than 'shock exit' and yes, it is blatantly a fix- I see right through and people that dont really need to  albeit, a very, very entertaining fix
November 8, 201014 yr Of course it's not a fix... final results have been transparent enough for my taste and all of these results looked obvious in the end.
November 8, 201014 yr It's a brilliant show to watch but I don't think there's a person I know who doesn't believe it's a fix... It's just so damn annoying and Louis Walsh is the most repulsive creature ever created by our lord and saviour. Awww. I'm oddly warming to Louis this year for some reason, I think his contribution (to be the unlikeable one who no one likes) is done much better than say Cheryl's.
November 8, 201014 yr Louis' contributions are just completely useless though  He ruins his acts by giving them dire song choices (even poor JLS were in suits doing ancient ballads most of the time), and his predictable comments are the same year in year out 'You deserve a place in the final' he says to nearly everyone and the age old 'you made that your own', 'you're the next big star' and 'you could have a number one hit record with that'. Yawn... It does seem to be the Cheryl and Simon show though these days. Dannii gives constructive criticism and credit where it's due, and goes almost completely ignored, Louis gives these cliched comments every week which add absolutely nothing to the show, nor do they make decent soundbites (note how his comments are NEVER referenced on the Sunday show when looking at highlights from the day before). Simon's comments and critiquing skills have gone way way down in the last few years, almost like he's given up - they're not worth as much as they used to be. Cheryl can say or do anything at all and it will make the papers on Monday.
November 8, 201014 yr Dannii is the only judge there who gives out good, constructive comments and it really annoys me that she is ignored in favour of Cheryl saying $h!t like "you are my guilty pleasure" and "you look like a popstar" :manson:
November 8, 201014 yr Dermot was a bit bitchy to Cheryl then... Was he really expecting her to choose? Buzzjack strikes again. Dermot wasn't being bitchy, he was doing his job...too bad Cheryl didn't do hers. they are her acts!!! usually they leave the mentor to vote last... That doesn't matter, the bitch had to choose one. Are you retarded? ??????????? It's funny that people are blaming Simon and Louis for Treyc leaving, yet they don't blame Cheryl for not choosing? This place is so female biased it's hilarious. If Cheryl had chosen one of them (Katie?), Treyc might've surivived. Jay Kay was correct about her being useless. Edited November 8, 201014 yr by Typhoon
November 8, 201014 yr isnt it odd though- week 5 and ANOTHER controversial exit- thats three years now :o I think a better word for it is 'controversial exit' rather than 'shock exit' It makes me wonder if it's actually a planned "shock exit" Maybe they consider week five to be the special moment where people start losing interest a bit....so they make sure to reel people in again with something controversial.
November 8, 201014 yr It's not Elton John week is it? Take That, Westlife & JLS are on next week and I swear Simon said it was boyband week...
November 8, 201014 yr So pleased TreyC has gone, she was utterly DULL. Katie is amazing(ish), I wouldn't buy any of her music but she's my second favourite for entertainment value alone.
November 8, 201014 yr It's not Elton John week is it? Take That, Westlife & JLS are on next week and I swear Simon said it was boyband week... Oh gosh  ...now to whose advantage would that, naturally, work
November 8, 201014 yr Even though Treyc is a good singer katie is more interesting as simon said. He is a genius after all. :heehee: Edited November 8, 201014 yr by Jmh123
November 8, 201014 yr It's not Elton John week is it? Take That, Westlife & JLS are on next week and I swear Simon said it was boyband week... Yeah it's Elton John week dermot said at end of the show 'next week the finalist will be taken on the song's of Elton John' or something along them line's haha
November 8, 201014 yr Well let's do some predicting... Aiden - Sacrifice Cher - Tiny dancer One Direction - Sorry seems to be the hardest word Katie - Goodbye yellow brick road Mary - Candle in the wind Matt - Lucy in the sky with diamonds Paije - Nikita Rebecca - Your song Wagner - I'm still standing Something like that...
November 8, 201014 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUWBLjcr-uM "I think I performed better" "I'm proud that I at least finished my performance" "When I look back at it, I suppose it isn't fair" "But Katie is entertaining, and this is an entertainment show" TREYC <3
November 8, 201014 yr I thought TreyC dealt with it very well. Fair enough if she's pissed off, her own f***ing mentor let her down.
November 9, 201014 yr How did Cheryl let her down? Ok, maybe song choice wise (although she was pretty good on Saturday) it was Cheryl's fault, however, she did say to Dermot that she'll take it to deadlock (as i'm pretty sure every judge (yes, even Dannii) would have done), but it was the producer or whatever which told Dermot that it's going to be whoever gets the most votes or whatever. That was clear enough I thought. Had it gone to deadlock, you'd all be saying the same thing (as I'm pretty sure Trey-C would have gone) then it'd still be Cheryl's fault. the fact is, Trey-C has failed to make any impact on the public at all, at least Katie's provoking some sort of attention. Yes, Simon knows what will bring in the viewers for his show, but I still think people here are just quick to jump on Cheryl's back, when Dannii or the other two would have done exactly the same if they were in her situation. Next year or next time, they should rid of judges votes completely. They're always unbiased and unfair. And it should all be about the viewers and what they want. The songs for survival should stay but the lines should re-open for another 10 mins or so for the public to decide on them performances.
November 9, 201014 yr I found it shocking that I read The Sun's column inches on this. I mean if you didn't know X-Factor was a fix up then where have you been for last 6 or 7 years. I mean look like at the attention and mass media around this show. Simon knows Katie is a prime product for controversy which a show at this height needs wants. In the end, Simon doesn't really care about Katie being a "hate figure" because his show is being talked about on a wide scale. Anyway, Katie will continue to be bottom as her personality just transparent to the public it seems. It just down to her pity parade (Simon & Louie) who will continue to give her life or just "SOD IT!"
