Second single from Katy B, released December 13th. Think this is possibly better than 'Katy On a Mission'. I really like what I've heard from her so far, her two singles and the two she's done with Magnetic Man. Nothing groundbreaking but I love it.

 

Disappointing follow-up to KOAM/PS but decent enough

 

I also approve of the Ms. Dynamite revival with this and 'Wile Out' (and also 'What U Talking Abouit?' with Redlight)

I quite like this. Quite a different genre from the last single and it works really well.

 

She looks normal most of the time in the video. :lol:

I'm not enjoying this as much as I did 'Katy On A Mission' either, I feel it just lacks something but who knows - maybe it'll hit me in a few weeks time. I am very much so in love with her at the moment though, and I do love it when Ms Dynamite randomly pops up on a record to remind us of her existance.

Katy B's absolutely huge at the moment, so this'll be guaranteed to go top 20 at least. :)

It's so 90s. :lol: Not in a bad way though. I quite enjoyed it, it's a nice song, but I expected a huge dubstep hit from her again. But seeing how the latest Magnetic Man single underperformed - maybe it's for good that she changed a bit her sound on her follow-up single.

Wah-yooowwww, Ms. Dynamite still makes music? I liked her :D.

Ms. Dynamite has become the British Nicki Minaj. :lol: She hasn't released her own material for ages yet she's featured in quite a few songs recently.

 

I LOVE the song right now. Especially Ms.Dynamite's verse.

I'm not MAD on this but Katy On A Mission was phenomenal so it's one of these "wait for it to grow" things

Sounds like something that would skirt around the top 20 in the 90's and then disapear......not impressed :/

I definitely prefer this to 'Katy On A Mission', that was absolute garbage.

 

Same with 'Perfect Stranger' too, shame that didn't do well. :(

I agree I like it too, I actually include her song in my dance lessons and right now I am preparing for our Christmas party.

To be fair....this track has really really grown on me!! Annoyingly infectious track :)

I hope it does well. I've been hearing it a bit on commercial radio the past couple of weeks too, whilst with Katy On a Mission, I didn't hear it anywhere outside Radio 1 until it got in the charts, so that's also promising.

So, it's definitely the top-3 hit now, and quite a big contender for #1 (depending on Matt's 2nd week fistly physical sales). Who'd have thought...?
