November 7, 201015 yr So much cheese in 2000  Not the best chart from that time really. My favourite was/is probably Martine McCutcheon - good disco-pop track. Although being 9 years old at the time I probably fell hook, line and sinker for the rather catchy Tweenies song  Louise deserved better than #13 :( As for 2005, I remember buying the Goldfrapp and The Rakes songs that week :D

November 7, 201015 yr The video for Christina Aguilera's Come On Over was quite ahead of its time imo: bMoQm_TZ2DE I think that was the first music video and I recognised and danced to when I was younger.
November 7, 201015 yr The video for Christina Aguilera's Come On Over was quite ahead of its time imo: bMoQm_TZ2DE I'd say its a typical video from 2000, back then all the videos seemed to be colourful and had a futuristic theme. My fav video of this week: Louise - Beautiful Inside 8CSbfcolv3s
November 7, 201015 yr Author I'd say its a typical video from 2000, back then all the videos seemed to be colourful and had a futuristic theme. I remember at the time it was seen as quite forward thinking - the dancing is great tbf and the changes of perspecive are pretty good. It holds up well I think.

November 7, 201015 yr I remember at the time it was seen as quite forward thinking - the dancing is great tbf and the changes of perspecive are pretty good. It holds up well I think. I think most videos at the time were great, and less cheap looking than they are today. Maybe it's just me :P

I liked the flavour of R&B at this time too - but it went downhill not long after this, at least on the commercial side of things.
