Looking at this list, I wonder whether there could potentially be a UK album chart top 10 consisting purely of new entries? :o It seems unlikely but you never can tell.

Take That will spend a few weeks at number 1 i think.

Mcfly will enter top 15 purely due to the fact it was given away free to fans that use their website.

Jls and Westlife will enter top 3

I think Take That are more album then they are singles at the moment and will probably beat Rihanna in that race!

That's not even the quetion, Of course they'll outsell Rihanna, at least 2:1.

I would expect sth like that:

The coming week: 1) TT 500K+ :o

2)Rihanna ~100k

After that: 1)TT >300K

2)Jls 180K

3)Westlife 140K

4)Rihanna ~70K

And after that: 1)TT >200K (over a million total at this point)

2)Jls 100K

3)BEP 80K

4)Duffy 70K

5)Olly 60K

6)Rihanna ~50K

7)Westlife 50K

I still wonder why Mariah releases a christmas album in the middle of November... It will definitely climb at xmas period though.

I'm thinking...

15th Nov

01 Take That – Progress [sales of 200k]

02 Rihanna – Loud [sales of 80k]

04 P!nk – Greatest Hits… So Far!!!

05 Shayne Ward – Obsession

09 McFly – Above The Noise

14 Nelly - 5.0

19 Tinchy Stryder – Third Strike

24 Mariah Carey – Merry Christmas II You

22nd Nov

02 Duffy – Endlessly [sales of 150k]

05 Black Eyed Peas – The Beginning [sales of 75k]

07 Olly Murs – Olly Murs

09 N-Dubz - Love Live Life

11 Ellie Goulding - Bright Lights

16 Nelly Furtado – The Best Of

23 Alesha Dixon – The Entertainer

38 Flo Rida - Only 1 Flo (Part 1)

42 Robyn - Body Talk

I do. They may not do it but don't say it is impossible ;)

Yes, i do too.The Circus album has sold 432k in its first week. This album will be even bigger. Well, at least it looks like it will be absolutely massive. The album is mindblowing.

I predict- 550k for TT for the first week

Westlife- 105k for the first week

Jls- 160k for the first week

I reckon Take That will do well but wont sell as much this time around. Just a feeling I get. Maybe 200k next week for 1st week. Rihanna will be top5 album. I think Pink and Nelly Furtado will underperform.

agree. . . i don't see why you think this album will be bigger than circus. . . around 200k from me 2. . .

Lol

200k first week for Take That. No chance. It will sell at THE VERY LEAST 300k+... I think it certainly has the potential to go even higher than The Circus' first week total and may possibly go higher that 500k...just. Iirc Take That are just as hyped (if not more hyped) now as they were in The Circus era so it so clear that the reason why the stunning Flood isn't doing as well as expected is because most people no they will get the album next week

Also, those of you saying Nicki Minaj (Nicki who?) is a contender for a big album... Did you see Your Love's performance...she strikes me as a singles sort of act and if she can barely get a Top 75 single, what chance does she stand on the albums chart lol

The only reason Check It Out is doing any good is because of will.i.am...not Nicki.

Robyn will me lucky to reach Top 40 what with all the mad rush...but you never know...one of the previous ones went Top 40...

Next week: Take That #1 with about 320k. Rihanna coming in at #3/4 with 70k. Pink, McFly top 10 and Shayne top 20.

22nd Nov: JLS with about 145k, which will (just) beat Take That's second week. Westlife #3 with around 100k.

29th Nov: Take That may climb back to #1 as JLS will have a steeper drop. BEPs at #3 and Duffy #4, and Olly and Ellie not far behind.

do you really believe take that will sell 500k in the first week and 300k in the second????

I don't know what you're laughing about Charis ... I agree with 7theDreamer. If it doesn't make 500K then 300K ... it will be bloody well near enough. I may not be a fan of The Flood myself (and I can see why it has underperformed) but the album is great. I think it will eventually sell more than The Circus (given the same amount of time) although I doubt it will surpass the total sales to date for BW.

Kath

Edit ... I cannot believe the number of people here who think that they are NOT going to sell more than 300K first week. Not only will it sell brilliantly ... I think it'll be number one for at least three or four weeks. And when it does move down the chart ... it'll move very, very slowly.
