next week will be Take That- I know TF has underperformed, but they will sell far more albums than singles- so I think they will be a certainty for then- around 200-300k for that

the second week will be either JLS or Take That again- if it is JLS, their sales wont be as high as TT's first week- I'd say around 150-200k

the third week I think will be either JLS or Take That again - although a lot of the others can go top 10

I actually think people are underestimating My Chemical Romance slightly... should really go top 10 although it'll probably plummet before recovering in the new year, similarly to Biffy Clyro last year.

I actually believe TT will rule the charts for a few weeks now and then will be back on top again all xmas holidays long, and again when the 2nd single is out and perhaps once more after the Brits... (I can see them snatching a few)

It will have massive sales due to casual fans for a few weeks but it will gain more new fans with time since it is nice progressive sound (I would never expect I would say it for a TT album) and will therefore have longivity on the charts.

It may not do the 500K+ I expect if the new sound doesn't go down well with traditional TT fans but I bet they have already preordered the album so they can't get their money back now even if they want to!

I don't see it recovering at all, if anything it'll slump down much like the Lostprophets and Linkin Park albums did, but with a lower peak.

Oh my days, poor BEP, they're setting themselves up for yet another album which will never make the top 2 :(

They've had 3 million selling albums and they've peaked at #3, #4 and #3, The Beginning may follow in their footsteps... although TBH I don't think it'll sell a million

I think MyChemicalRomance should do much better than you guys seem to think, although I grant you the single hasn't exactly set itunes ablaze like I thought it would. Hopefully that's the same waiting for the album logic as mentioned above. Also I think I'm right in saying that MCRs album is available in four colours (one for each member/mask) which although a bit gimmicky and unfair to competitors should see at least some of their die hard fans buy more than one. And MCR have some very die hard fans!

Also I do think that TT won't do as well as people think, I've not really heard any of my friends or anyone getting that excited about them this time round really.

Ones to look out for I think:

15th November

Bruce Springsteen - The Promise

Pink – Greatest Hits… So Far!!! [This shouldn't be underestimated, I wouldn't be surprised if It charted higher than Rihanna!]

Rihanna – Loud

Take That – Progress

22nd November

JLS - Outta This World

Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy [Cannot wait to get my hands on this!]

Westlife – Gravity

29th November

Black Eyed Peas – The Beginning

Duffy – Endlessly [Not to sure on Duffy, I'd be surprised if it was as big as everyone is making it out to be..]

N-Dubz - Love Live Life

Olly Murs – Olly Murs

Ellie Goulding - Bright Lights

It may enter at No.2 or even No.1 ahead of Duffy, if she's not as big this time. I personally think Take That will be No.1 right until Christmas with JLS, Duffy and BEP all missing out.

MCR album will do better in the US than it will here I expect. Mid November-Late December is when the non-regular album buyers are out in force buying Christmas presents and that's when album sales seem to rocket, I think it will reach the top ten just but it could also miss out depending on what sales are like then. The Black Parade was No2 in the US and UK when it came out but that was in October where the big 4th quarter albums are only just starting to come out

personally I'd like to see JLS flop but it's not going to happen, Take That will sell around 400k+ in the first week because it will be discounted by supermarkets who will probably have impluse stands at certain places in the shops.

Er, you just contradicted yourself there? BEP are released 2 weeks after TT

BEP will enter at 3 behind TT and JLS IMO

Been researching the figures for MCR's 2006 single and album. The single 'Welcome To The Black Parade' did abt 34k in the first week new at #1 (21/10/06) and abt 29k in the second week (also #1). In the third week (4/11) the album was new at #2 with sales of nearly 86k which would have got it #1 in the two weeks before or after, it was only because Robbie had a huge sale that week for Rudebox that they got kept at #2. But seriously I expect far more people remember/still play/are fans of 'Black Parade' than Rudebox nowadays, so it was the real winner. Gettin back to topic slowly... this time round Na Na Na has not quite made 10k sales in it's first week (#31 :-{ ) but will hopefully pick up more in week two from it's charting and it's A-Listing on R1. Hopefully though most of MCR's real fans are just waiting for the album and it should easily do 100k and maybe up to 150k in week one, which with TT already on week two by then could see MCR top the album chart.
soo nice to see that westlife most likely wont have any shot at #1 or even #2!! LOL :cheer:

15 nov. no.1 take that 300k

22 nov. no.1 westlife 130k no.2 jls 100k no.3 90k

29 nov. no.1 duffy no.2 westlife no.3 take that
