Yeah Good point. its very summery!
I guess the R2 will like the summery-ness of California Gurls. Watch them play the Non-Snoop version though.

I heard it on R2 last week, it was indeed the Snoop-less version.

R2 >>>>>> R1, they still play actual music. Yes I am 65.

Nice to see support for Caro. Although with only Radio 2's backing, I doubt she'll be able to do that well singles wise, not that Radio 1 were ever going to playlist her though

A Night Like This deserves to smash when it's inevitably released next.

yeah, did you knwo it was written by bruno mars - seems to be the man of the moment!!

On NO! R2 Have completely dropped Kylie/GOMW (A-listed last week) like a HOT POTATO! :o Even R2 think she is such hasbeen - the insult could not be greater.http://s19.rimg.info/5a77879c7996abed1b3f612d9e25357a.gif

Oh well look on the bright side at least M will have some company now :teresa:

NEW Gary Barlow & Robbie Williams - Shame/Heart & I

What's this???? And how is it different from the other one they have been playing ad nauseum. <_<

Editing to add - I've just listened to it and it's a different track - wonder why it's down as Shame

Hopefully Pixie will get a top 10 hit with BA! If she gets an XF performance, she'll be high! I really hope Joe McElderry stays where he is, I HATE HIM!!:(

Pixie really deserves top 10, CRy me out, Gravity and TIU were all worthey of it:)

Where the f*** are The Ting Tings?! I thought they would play them. I predict a flop? :( So sad that stations apart from Radio 1 aren't playing them
I heard the new Rumer song today on radio 2, it's another great song. Will definately buy the album.
Easy listening stations like this dont do much for me -_-

At least they play music unlike Radio1 which tends to promote gibberish songs. Such a shame that robots (autotune etc) dominate the charts these days.

R2 are having the last laugh though it is a good idea to stick more pop tunes on the playlist. There audience listening figures are now 16% and R1 has dropped to 9.3%.R2 were smart to champion acts like Eliza Doolittle,Rumer and Rox but the playlist could be a bit more diverse.
