I for one do believe Progress sales will be close to 3 million.

That's too low for Robbie and TT album, don't you think?And,mind you,i don't only mean the hype surrounding them at the moment, i mean the album itself is absolutely brilliant to sell as much as Beautiful World( or even more)

I think they'll do around 400k - 500k this week, not sure whether they'll keep up the sales till xmas but i reckon around 1.8Million by then and around just over 2 million in total maybe 2.5 in total depending on what singles they release and of course the tour next summer.

Well it depends - a lot of time if you triple the first day sales it is in around the end of the week figure. With 'The Circus' it was a little over three times the first day sales - with RKTVS last year for example it was slightly under three times the first day figure. So it IS possible 'Progress' will sell OVER 700,000 copies this week beating Oasis. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

I have read that lots of stores ran out of the album by lunchtime yesterday so first day sales could have been a little higher maybe?

It's possible because what we have here in a combination (in terms of album sales) of the UK's biggest band and the UK's biggest male - both fanbases combined plus due to the insane hype by the media - many curious casual listeners too. It is a unique situation and I expected it to be huge but not this huge.

It was £7.99 for one day only in HMV on Monday. Those sales just blew my mind! T'is a good album like :D
