November 21, 201014 yr Author A reliable source has said that the mix that was leaked yesturday is infact a reject from the Wordshaker campaign. Some ass just renamed it to make it look like it was made for this Christmas..
November 21, 201014 yr im not being funny but there is nothing christmassy related about that remix and the girls wouldnt release it in one month, you know how long their promo campaigns last!

November 24, 201014 yr Author @welovepop on twitter have just confirmed that the unreleased mixes for One Shot (7th Heaven confirmed) and Here Standing (WAWA and Cutmore) are coming to the clubs. Seems like they're not using them for single campaigns, so they may as well just send them out instead of leaving them dormant in the volts of Polydor to do sod all. Good move :)

November 24, 201014 yr Author Sorry; I didn't quite understand that last part They were planning on doing nothing with the mixes for both cancelled single releases One Shot and Here Standing. They're sending all these 'unreleased' mixes to the clubs, which means club promos, which means they'll leak fairly soon. I have a feeling that is where the Cutmore Remix came from a few days ago. I think it's a great idea that they're going to put them out there anyway dispite the fact they're cursed by Wordshaker, haha. They should really stick them in an iTunes bundle though since no-one actually has them. It's a good move on their behalf anyway :)
November 24, 201014 yr I doubt there'll be a third single now. We usually hear about the next single after the last single has been released, and Higher has been out three weeks now and no news at all. :( Soooooo many great songs being left on albums because of dire lead single choices!!
November 25, 201014 yr Author WAWA mix has leaked for Here Standing, as it is 10x better than the Cutmore mix.

November 26, 201014 yr I hope this is true because it would be a good winter single for them. I'd have preferred Died In Your Eyes though if they were going for a ballad really.. Considering how well Higher has sold, I can definitely see there being a third single though, so it's looking likely that this is it. 'Died In Your Eyes' is b-side material at the very best, there's no way that would make a good single.
November 26, 201014 yr 'Died In Your Eyes' is b-side material at the very best, there's no way that would make a good single. To be honest, I don't think either of the two are particularly strong single material. However, because Here Standing is over a year old; I'd prefer Died In Your Eyes. Not because I prefer the song, but because it's the more recent of the two. If it really is in the pipeline, I think the label should take into account that 80,000 people already own that song.

If it really is in the pipeline, I think the label should take into account that 80,000 people already own that song. 80,000 people already owning it is nothing, I still think it'd stand the better chance of the two ballad releases if it's between them...
November 27, 201014 yr Aly is right. 800,000 people already owning a song is one thing. 80,000 owning it is a mere drop in the ocean. The irony is that even though Here Standing is a year 'older' it sounds newer and has fresher production (and in fact Died In Your Eyes was released as part of Kristinia DeBarge's album four months-odd before Wordshaker was first released).
November 27, 201014 yr Whichever one they go for, it's not going to be a huge smash, I really would prefer Died In Your Eyes myself, but Here Standing did have massive overplay from me last year. Either way top 15 will be the best it'll manage, they really need to start pushing it soon though, whatever choice they make.

Not exactly true.. The Saturdays highest selling single has only sold 311,000, so 80,000 albums sold could be quite detrimental to the single's performance. The only single they've released after an album reaching this point was 'Work' that stalled at #22. It was silly of me to say that about 'Here Standing' however, as 'Died In Your Eyes' will have sold more having been on 'Headlines'.. I guess I wasn't thinking

The only single they've released after an album reaching this point was 'Work' that stalled at #22.'Issues'? Wasn't that released after the album? It went top 5 for them and sold a lot for them...
November 30, 201014 yr 'Died In Your Eyes' for me would be a ridicolous single choice, it's by far the weakest track on Headlines and whilst nice enough for an album track just cant stand up as a strong single. 'Here Standing' would work, and would work very well for a late winter release in my opinion.
