I'm sure I don't need to introduce her/these... However, I couldn't find a thread. Surprising. Jonna Lee has been mysteriously adding videos to Youtube all year, each one more creative/amazing/incredible than the last (people stupidly thought Christina Aguilera was behind them). Anyway, for the past month she/they been hyping a live concert to stream on their website. It's on their now. AMAZING. If Lady GaGa came out with something like this everyone would be flipping out. The first ten minutes are deceptively slow but then wow. Fantastic stuff.

Totally agree. I've been following this campaign from pretty much the start and that video was one of the most captivating things I've seen. Truly magnificent. I just hope we get a CD/DVD release with everything on it.

I've finished watching the whole video myself. And I find this unique concept mysteriously intriguing, exclusively fascinating, captivatingly unpredictable, divinely creative and oddly funny at times. I think I love it.. *+1 in hoping for a CD/DVD release with everything on it*

This has completely passed me by after the initial fuss over the viral clips. Is the music actually worth listening to? I'd written it off after listening to some Jonna Lee tracks and not being very fussed but I've just listened to the clip of 'y' on itunes and it sounds like a spacey Kate Bush. :o

 

I thought you'd be one of the people loving this. :o Well, the order they were originally uploaded was B, O, U-1, U-2, N, T, Y (and if you want to watch the story progress then definitely watch from the start) but these are probably the ones that will get you hooked. The depth and amount of detail is ridiculous.

I did love the visual side of the project and I also quite liked the music too, it was the reveal of who it was that left me underwhelmed and I was under the impression that the music later released would bear little resemblance to the clips. It would seem I was very wrong on that one though as I'm liking the clips you've posted so far... I shall watch them all in order some point soon and am now a little bit gutted that I missed the concert. Gah.

Visually this is such stunning work, and makes me wonder just how much they spent on. It is something that puts me into a kind of trance, completely otherwordly. Like Ljósið said, she hasn't released anything for a while now, so I'd forgotten about her (despite meaning to download the songs), so thanks for bringing this to my attention. Will watch sometime tomorrow.

Now that is rather great, both visually and musically. Probably my favourite thing of theirs to date actually, love the build up and when the beat kicks in. :wub:

I do agree it is incredible, although 'T', 'O' and 'Y' remain my favourites.

I remember watching the T video for the first time and swooning so hard. I really hope this is the start of a new project! NEW VIDEO EVERY MONTH PLEASE.

New song, 'Clump' is to be released on monday. EXCITED.

 

Clump sounds like it could be quite something, 'Y' remains my favourite that song/video is phenomenal.
