Ugh I'm so annoyed that the fact that JLS have released multiple covers of their albums. They did it with their first Album too I think, correct me If im wrong, They are just so desperate for sales tbh.

I actually hope Take That get the #1 Album this week rather than JLS.

They are mainly for the fans, who have their favourite members. I just got back from their signing and I don't think I saw anyone buying more than 1 copy

The Wanted also did the same thing and yet still only charted at Number 3, so no it doesn't always guarantee sales

They charted at 4... Joe was at 3 I think :)

I think it's fixed now. Olly is back at #4.

Jessie is #30, Gorillaz #41, Duffy #65.

XFF2008 - Hero is down to #70 though :o Fast fall

Unrelated and will only interest me: Sex On Fire is back up to #114 so could well return to the top 100 this week.

yeah i know what you mean but at the end of the day its the quality of the album that sells and realistically jls wont better their debut sales and wont sell more than 150,000 this week...the 4 sleeve gimic is a bit pathetic if it is only designed to generate more sales per person but looking at what has been previously mentioned i agree its just so someone can choose the one that they like the most, not all 4 of them...plus its bloody expensive if teenage girls or whatever are buying 4 albums a time at nearly 10 pound each lol

realistically take that will sell over 200,000 this week again and will stay top, kanye for top 3?

Last night when X-Factor got to #1 with a huge lead and Olly got to #4, the other new entries were very, very low. So iTunes must have decided to revert to a time when the data was correct, and seem to have just missed out nearly 24 hours worth of data.

I doubt the midweeks will be right all week.

Next week releases:

Nicole - Posion

X Factor Performance but not in top 50 on radio and #25 on TV on Sunday's Airplay chart so i'm guessing top 10, top 5 at a push.

Michael Jackson ft Akon - Hold My Hand

Straight in at #12 on radio airplay, no video yet i dont think, if there is not on TV yet, its MJ, he's dead, so shock #1 or is that predictable? Not sure with X Factor released they may take 2 weeks at #1.

Other releases, Alesha Dixon - Radio, Nicki Minaj - Right thru me, Brandon Flowers - Only the Young, David Guetta ft Rihanna - Who's That Chick, Flo Rida - Turn Around, Akon - Angel and Robyn - Indestructable.

None of the above are in the to 50 airplay on either tv or radio though. Busy week on the 28th, which will impact the top 40?

Next week I think:

Nicole - top 5 (outside shot at no.1)

MJ - top 10

Alesha - top 30 if lucky :(

Nicki - top 40 :( :(

Guetta/RiRi - top 20

Next week I think:

Guetta/RiRi - top 20

Nope, if "Gettin' Over You" can hit #1, this will atleast go top 5.

wonder if MJ will be on x factor? :P

I was thinking that, it's a thousand times better than GOY, but it's had virtually no airplay/promo. I believe buzz and word of mouth might propel to top 20 tho

I'm not convinced MJ will be top 10, maybe lower top 20 around #18, I'm expecting Nicole top 3/top 5. Alesha will peak similarly to the Roll Deep track she featured on but I'm praying for better. :( I also hope Robyn at least charts.

This is weird - I thought MJ was out on Sunday - but on the official site it says differently:

"Michael's new single 'Hold My Hand (Duet With Akon)' will be released in the UK on Sun 5th Dec as a digital download; and on Mon 6th Dec as a CD single [4 tracks - Album Version, Vocals & Orchestra, Alternate Mix and Instrumental]. Pre-order links will be available here shortly."

I would say the same, except Gettin' Over You had been getting a LOT more promotion. It's not really a fair contest, as I'm sure a lot more people would want to buy his new song, but they simply haven't heard it, yet.

I notice from the pop bars this morning (assuming they are now fixed), that the XFF's have a decidedly underwhelming lead - only 4-3 over Ellie. They may not even hold the iT top spot through the week, at this rate. :P

They're gonna need those physical sales...

With multuiple versions of JLS, TT and Rihanna - surely Olly is only at 6

#5, 5% ahead of TT combined.
