Nope, just that Nicole's new release "steam" is losing momentum, as always happens with new releases once we get to late Thursday/early-Friday. i.e. Ellie is selling steady (no boost) but Nicole is dropping (faster).

:drama: Ellie returns for a third run at iTunes #1 but still no official #1 in sight!

 

Coldplay now #3 :D I heard a snippet of what I assume was it on an advert, sounded great from that snippet. It's matched where Muse's Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) got to, hopefully it won't fall as fast :P I think it could overtake Nicole TBH, it could even go to #1 on iTunes :o

I love to see Coldplay as the Christmas #1 but its not going to happen :snif: I love it, I know Coldplay is not everyone's cup of tea, but its original and very christmassy and it would be a whole lot better than having another old cover version at #1 unless Simon Cowell will be announcing the winner will be singing a cover version of Mary's Boy Child :nocheer:

The finalist has chosen their OWN song for this years winning single. Cowell apparently said he's willing to put money behind whoever wins, to ensure them they get the number 1 or whatever. I don't know whether that means they got to choose which song they wanted to cover (wouldn't surprise me), or whether they actually got to write and produce the track themselves... (sounds too good to be true)

Alexa and JLS pushed N-Dubz down to #13 :-( At least Best Behaviour will scrape another week in the top 75 by the looks of it thanks to the album release... N-Dubz's label have really messed up this era's singles, they choose such bad singles and then release them at the most ridiculous unlogical of times -roll eyes-

Yep, sounds likely. I bet they're all covers and each one will be what they regard as that contestant's best performance from the series.
