Coldplay could be next week's #1 that's if BEPs don't crash the party tomorrow. To be honest I prefer Coldplay (at least its original) over BEPs track, the BEPs feels so old and messy in places, the sample does not work.

Go Coldplay, get that #1 :w00t:

 

A second (correctly credited) version of Fairytale Of New York is now back in the top 100 at #83 - but it's different to the one that went top 30. That one was from the album 'If I Should Fall from Grace With God', this is from 'The Very Best of The Pogues'

Y in the X factor they didn't bring Coldplay to perform this Perfect Christmas song?! It could have been number 1... :( I hate the BEP song!!!!!!

It might be drepressing to you but its a breath of fresh air instead of all the X Factor crap :rolleyes:

 

Coldplay's song is OK, I do prefer it to BEP. I don't think either them or Alex will trouble the top 3 (BEP will go top 5 and Alex top 20), and Glee deffo won't. It'll be a straight fight between Ellie and Coldplay for no. 1!

I think Glee will sing a meledy, xmas song or dont stop believing.

It is a much better record, but it's going to be free on iTunes that week so it's not going to chart. They say it "will be released the following week" I guess that means a CD release but that'll be for Boxing Day chart. Seems a bit of a shame really it could have done quite well.
