I'm glad to see MJ steadily rise ever since Sunday. Every time I've checked iTunes he has climbed - if he can achieve a Top 20 by Sunday I'll be pleased with that :)

The Blonde is Maria Haukaas Storeng, Norway's 2008 Eurovision entry with Hold On Be Strong.

 

A track that can only be described as a lyrical masterpiece.

 

I love Stuck In My Head but Love The Way You Lie is the last thing I'd compare it to. Lyrically and musically, they couldn't be more far removed from each other - the only similarity I can think of is male rap verses and female singer chorus but nearly every chart song these days is of this structure :lol:

I saw the comparison on youtube and decided to steal it, because i thought it fit.

 

The two tracks are on the same theme, they both have a big pop artist [Tone is big for Norway, K] and a hiphop rap artist. They are also the same tempo.

 

Granted SIMH is a Tone Damli track so there are about 6m more strings on it :heehee: I would say it was a reasonable comparison. It's far from perfect, but they kinda are Norway's Rihanna/Eminem. I still maintain it would be a big hit worldwide.

But what is wrong with Syco releasing Alex and Joe the same week and neither of them seem to have any additional television promotion planned for this week which could help them climb.It is a shame for Ellie she has had too many of her songs miss the Top 10 so a No 1 would be great.Surprised Alex's Before the Rain is higher than Perfect and glad The Silence is still climbing.

Glad to see the Single Mix of 'The Silence' climbing, hopefully if it reaches top 40 both versions will be enough to get it at least top 20. It's such a beautiful song, such a shame it's looking to be Alexandra's worst performing single. :(

it's offical release week for him and at #150 odd on itunes doing pretty bad poor joe is album as only sold 74k in like 4 or 5 weeks aswell

I don't know about Alex, but Joe has been on Blue Peter today and Loose Women tomorrow - don't know about the rest of the week
