As of thursday, BTW is #4 on US Airplay with an audience impression of 95,667,000 million (+ 11.5 million). So she should reach an audience of over 100,000,000 in a week beating the previous record held by Janet Jackson (with 70 million). Officially she has charted during her first week at #6 with an audience of over 78 million.

 

Apple has also announced today that Born This Way has sold 1 million digital copies WW in 5 days to become iTunes fastest selling single of all time.

TeenToday seem to be saying Monday/Tuesday for the video (which would give it more chance for #1 the Sunday after)

The Video is apparently short like the JD, PF, Lovegame and BR video's. No Breaks etc.

I'd prefer it like that, I don't think it would be as good as it could be if it had breaks inbetween the song.

I love watching the whole telephone video but when they edited it and cut the breaks it just destroyed it but i like the short alejandro. Glad its going to be kept short as BR was AMAZING!!

This. Releasing in the same time frame has had a far bigger impact on the pop scene than had they released further apart; it's like dropping two massive bombs one after the other. Better sales all round.

That's what it was! I thought it might have been 'OMG' but I heard it recently without the Capital reference.

'Born This Way' is a (Non-Mover) at #3 this week in the UK.
