December 6, 201014 yr See this is why Alexandra Burke is kind of amazing. Would Matt or Rebecca morph into Jesus at the end of their performances? No. They would not.I love you more and more and more  Cher + Everytime Jonjo will be in hear to loon to high heavens any second now :lol:Ha. Unfortunately I was out, but catching up now! Will let you know what I thought :o Yes, but i was too busy looning over the fact that she had a line to be concerned about how bad it wasDon't worry. I've been watching it, 3 times, and she certainly was NOT the worst. She has quite possibly one of the sexiest singing voices I've heard, since Alicia Keys  Only here because of the judge's saving her because she cries. $h!t decision.LOL. They're saving her because she'll have a long lasting career and will undoubtedly bring in more viewers next week than Mary will. Nothing to do with the fact she "cries" :drama: MrLovett is a Cher fanatic, don't try to reason with him -_-Get over yourself. Like, seriously. I'm going to give an impartial review (whilst i'm still to see the sing-off's) but even I know they only had a sing off to save Cher. Although I am actually surprised Dannii saved Cher as opposed to making it go deadlock... Shocked but glad. Cher will perform 'Turn My Swag On' next week, come 3rd (no higher) and the jobs done. Simon will be reaping in the benefits from her performance being downloaded on iTunes etc... Nothing to do with the fact Cher cried. Surely they would have saved Mary basing it on that theory considering she was crying last night... So Cher and her were pretty equal  - But yeah, nothing to do with that at all.
December 6, 201014 yr Just seen the sing off's... WOW! Cher's 'Everytime', possibly one of my favourite Britney covers ever! Stunning. The vulnerability in her voice suited the song perfectly.
December 6, 201014 yr I've just rewatched the Glee performance on Youtube *i may have rewatched Dianna's line a couple or ten extra times* and Jonjo's right. Dianna was utterly orgasmic. I was far too busy having a mini spazz attack first time round to actually pay attention to her vocals, but they were sublime. I maintain she's the best thing to happen to TV since Emily Deschanel and Bones. Amber's f*** you to simon cowell remains the non-Dianna highlight. Glee top 3: 01 // Dianna Agron 02= // Amber Riley//Lea Michelle Like i said earlier, any one wanting to hate on Glee, line up orderly to the left please so i can dish the manditory 50% warning out. :smoke: RgSbzKvQ6Fc Those vocals were superb, and all the hate is completely irrational. They are all far more talented than any of this or last years wannabe's. How's about you actually watch the show before judging it and you'll see it's not karaoke and their versions are far better than over 90% of talent show finalists could manage. Y'all are too blinded by your own hatred and preconceptions that you couldn't even watch the glee performance impartially which actually disgusts me. Oh and Jane Lynch  [[Chris was not there fo sho]]
December 6, 201014 yr  I wish people would give Glee the chance, most of the songs don't sound as good until you actually see them being performed and used in the show. I really want to see them live, but I can't afford the prices they're wanting us to go for! :drama:

December 6, 201014 yr In any case, I'd say it's inevitable that One Direction, Matt and Cher will get recording contracts, with Rebecca getting one depending on how well she does next week. I can easily see her becoming the new Stacey Solomon though. I'll eat 100 hats if Rebecca doesn't get a recording contract. Stacey had an amazing personality and a good voice but Rebecca has a very distinctive voice that will sell hoardes of albums to people who buy Rumer or soul music (or me!). She's easily one of the most marketable adult contemporary singers X Factor have had and she will 100% get a recording contract no matter where she finishes in the top 4. They all will in fact, it's been a strong year at the top end with this top 4 being obvious from the first week of the finals. Certainly a stronger final than last year, by far. I'd probably buy music by all four acts when it eventually surfaces.

I do love Glee (the show) but this performance was nothing spectacular. In my opinion the boys' vocals were weak, the girs were good, and only Lea Michelle was amazing. She's actually the only one who would stand a chance on the X Factor. It did the job because it was exciting to see them outside 'Glee' on a TV stage, but that's it really :)
December 6, 201014 yr From an objective point of view, the Glee performance was solid - a 7 or 8/10 performance. I certainly don't see where the criticisms are coming from - a couple of the characters, like Tina, weren't particularly great live (apologies Phil, but Dianna's voice was royally shown up tonight! It's very delicate and thin as a voice and one certainly not suited to stage performance...) but they did at least stay in tune, even if they don't have strong voices - and, even so, were more than compensated for by those with strong voices. It was just a bit bizarre to whack Chord Overstreet in there though given season 2 hasn't even started yet over here  The vast majority of the British public don't even know who he is!
December 6, 201014 yr I think everybody is focusing far too much on Glee. They weren't outstanding but I still enjoyed it and it emphasised everything that is fun and exciting about the show. Burke also proved she was a worthy winner and the acrobatics behind her and her levitation stunt at the end were simply sublime. Mary's exit was predictable but it was a bit of a surprise to have a sing-off. I'm with the conspiracy theorists. I also thought Dannii Minogue might at least send it to deadlock but hmmmm. So yes people - leave Glee alone. The true car crash of the evening was the Black Eyed Peas. What a come down in less than 12 months from one of the biggest hits ever released to a diabolical performance like that and a guilty pleasure track forever tarnished by their $h!tty/so 2009 futuristic sound and out of time 'vocals'. Oh and as long as Cher doesn't win I don't mind. I'd personally like Matt or Rebecca but 1D would not actually be a great traversty. Cher is just annoying and she doesn't need the win anyway. She will be huge regardless.
December 6, 201014 yr Acts on results show. Alexandra Burke - really good Black Eyed Pease - Brilliant Glee - Absolute crap :puke2: :puke2:

I'd probably buy music by all four acts when it eventually surfaces. Rebecca is the only singer from the X-Factor, ever, who has made me curious enough to actually buy an album. She could go out of the competition next week (probably without blubbering too) and she'll still make it. The one thing that Rebecca has is a chance to make it in the States ... and I'm sure Simon is desperate to have another of his X-F children be big over there. Matt too, probably has a slim chance. Although I think Cher and 1 Direction will have a modicum of success in the UK, I really can't see them having a snow-flakes chance in hell of success over the pond. I wouldn't be surprised if Simon has already made plans for Rebecca to meet with Clive Davis. To be honest though ... this whole business where you don't even have to win the show makes the show pointless. I remember Simon Cowell saying ages ago of the X-Factor ... that ONLY the winner would be given a contract. Then again ... maybe Simon Cowell should shut his mouth and give his arse a chance ... it would surely make more sense. Kath
December 6, 201014 yr Acts on results show. Alexandra Burke - really good Black Eyed Pease - Brilliant Glee - Absolute crap :puke2: :puke2: euro music you usually have good taste but that list is just wrong. Alex did an amazing job and was the highlight, the staging was great but would have loved a choir. Glee were so entertaining and it was fun. There seemed to be some miming but Lea and Amber picked up the slack. The Black Eyed Peas just showed up unprepared, sounding terrible, mimed alot and were sloppy-it was embarrasing to watch.
December 6, 201014 yr Glee's biggest haters are the ones who just assume it's like ... High School Musical, and all 'crappy covers' without actually, you know, WATCHING the show at all. I find it amusing personally.
December 6, 201014 yr Oh it's Euro Music guys. It's not like he's ever expressed an objective or fair opinion anyway so he's unlikely to start now is he. Regarding Glee, I'd agree with the majority. It was a solid fun performance and certainly not the disaster made out to be by some. I also thought it was quite nice to see everyone (bar Artie, Mike and Brittany I believe) get a solo.
December 6, 201014 yr GUYS I NEED YOUR ADVICE One Direction are visiting my village tomorrow, shall I go see? :D
December 6, 201014 yr GUYS I NEED YOUR ADVICE One Direction are visiting my village tomorrow, shall I go see? :D If it's nearby then I'd say go, but be prepared for madness JLS homecoming gig was out of control with girls fainting, being badly organised etc.. But hopefully the organisers have learnt their lesson and this will be a lot better
December 6, 201014 yr I am a fan of Glee, its just the performance was quite bad imo some of them werent great singers :( the girl screaming in Simon's Face though was brilliant  Edited December 6, 201014 yr by chart wizard
December 6, 201014 yr I honestly do not get all the Rebecca bummage. 1. She sings like a poor-mans Billie Holiday (just weaker, less-distinctive vocals), 2. SHE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. SHE JUST STANDS THERE & MUMBLES, WHICH SHE CALLS HER 'SINGING'.
