sos doing well for take on th eback of royal variety and the flood holding up well, when both versions are combined along with phyisical top 10 on sunday is very very likely now.
For the 2nd day in a row, chart activity is normal - no high dropouts, and turnover is back down to normal levels. I think It's safe to say the bug has been cured!
Quick, someone get a campaign for You Gotta Be out there STAT

I'd rather have a piece of toast, watch the evening news -_-

Can't believe The Flood is still #6 combined :o Were there really that many new people introduced to it by the second X Factor performance? It's been everywhere over the last few weeks  Loving it though, still adore the song and it deserved far more than the dire 2-2-6-OUT top ten chart run it had.

Agreed, I can't believe people are still buying it in great enough numbers, but I'm glad they are  Is SOS the next single?

'The flood' is properly the most promoted song ever, how could we be surprised by its longevity in the charts when it got performed twice on the X Factor (including the big final), Children in need, Strictly Come Dancing, Royal Variety final, and probably many others.

Point taken, but considering it looked like it was going to do about as well as the infinitely inferior Shame, I'm glad that it's had the extra promotion. Speaking of The Flood, I really thought Cheryl had jumped the shark with Promise This, but post Royal Variety Performance, I've realised The Flood is actually quite good, I hope it climbs a lot now, would love to see it top 40 on Sunday.

'The flood' (Cheryl) has already jumped from 75 to 36 on Itunes following RVP, that's a good sign and if only she could have more promotion lined up the song would do just great.

It's released early January so hopefully she'll do more promo after the festive period, and get good radio support.

Didn't know Biffa did RVP
Damn, Corey out of the Top 40 for the first time this week :( Hoping his higher sales on other download sites (No. 14 on Amazon) will ensure a Top 40 placing come Sunday!

Adele was easily the stand out performer at the dullest RVP ever.Cheryl may as well have stayed at home, did she actually sing live, can she sing live, she stood there looking terrified it was embarassing-why is she a judge on X.

Why my favourite dance tracks always underperform? :( TV Rock, Dennis Ferrer and now Avicii :(

That`s because most people are out buying the physical with the extra tracks on.

Just keep on telling yourself that. :P

I bet not even Joe M was reeled in at this rate.

I knew Matt would be quite front-loaded, he may get another week next week- although Rihanna and Drake will probably get there in the first week on 2011, bit like Bad Romance did

I'm pretty sure Cheryl wasn't singing live, but she didn't look terrified, she looked emotional.
