To be fair, all those songs have got to #1 or #2 this year, apart from Eliza & Coldplay, but Eliza had a massive hit for #5 and Coldplay do have the only new Christmas song charting well.

Some music channels will be playing all the #1s of this year anyway. I remember them doing it last year, and it going on for ages! It made me realize how long the year was, and I think this year we might've have even more #1s! :o

Except those shows won't get many viewers, but they're repeated, and shown on different channels, so that might total up to a lot altogether.

Rihanna close to getting back to #1 on iTunes (again). I hope she manages it soon! I'm hearing the song everywhere at the moment. :)

True, but I am sure it has always been the songs that have got to No 1 and it seems odd to ignore songs that spent two weeks at No 1 for songs that were not as popular. Not sure why Eliza and Ellie have been included over the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry, Gaga and even Alexandra who all had two week No 1's.

C'mon someone knock Matt off #1 its been there too long now..

Hazelby Brothers & De Burgh  10! :cheer:

Also DILAD  18!

That abbreviation always reminds me of something else... :kink:

I think I can guess what that is :kink:

They must be both falling & rising pretty fast as judging by the last pop bars, they both had a gap to make up to get to the posititions they are in now. Fantastic for Jessie & I am glad at those Hazelby Brothers falling as the song is awfully boring & I dont even understand why it is there?

It's there because it was promoted on Sky 1, and it's for charity I think.

I've not heard the song yet, so I can't judge if it's boring, but I do expect it to fall quickly now, as I don't think there's anymore promotion for it. I doubt it's getting airplay or anything, so it'll be difficult for it to maintain sales.

I would love Who's That Chick? to re-enter iTunes top 10 though.

Has anyone noticed Matt Cardle is no longer album only?

Anyway Matt i predict will hang in to number one for 4 weeks, his physicals will be massive if he's on 80k atm he looks likely to sell another 300k.

It's only been there for a week.

Pass Out was at no.1 for 4 weeks and OMG was in the top 2 for 6.

And Eminem and Rihanna were at #2 on iTunes in June, July and August! :D

They were still #2 on iTunes on the 28th of August, so if they hung on a few more days, they would've been #2 on iTunes in 4 different months! :o No wonder it's going to sell a million.

How do you work that out??

The Tuesday mids sales (if/when we see them) are normally between 1/3rd & 2/5ths of the total week sales, but this won't even be a full week, as there can be no physical sales to add for Saturday. I estimate 220-230k for the week.

In all that time they only spent one day at #1 on iTunes though (21st Aug).

But Pass Out and OMG are a lot better than Cardle

So Invincible will be #11 in no time when it overtakes Hazelby Bros - then it just needs to climb one more place :D But there have been so many songs this year that never climb that one more place :(

Does anyone think Surfin' Bird could be out the top 40 officially by Sunday? :o
