Posted December 10, 201014 yr Given the success of the Swedish version of this song, they decided to record an english version of this song, which is now her new UK single. It's already been played today on Floorfillers (Radio 1).
December 10, 201014 yr gBsmdoF1_d0 It's not bad, but I'm not sure how it works in English. The chorus is OK, but the verses seem weirdly "empty" I dunno. Isn't there a Microfonkat thread already though?
December 10, 201014 yr Author Don't think so. Yeah she's done better, I prefer Resuscitate Me, but apparently most people prefer Mikrofonkat.
December 10, 201014 yr Just heard this on the radio like 10 minutes ago. :D It's okay. A bit more generic than some of her other songs I heard. It's not quite as good as Can't Get Over, but I hope it does well in the charts. :)
December 10, 201014 yr I prefer this to Resuscitate Me actually, the English version sounds slightly weird to me because I've been listening to the Swedish version for a few weeks but it's decent enough - hope Radio 1 continue to support it!
December 11, 201014 yr Hahah, I knew they were going to do this. But I don't mind, 2 greats songs and her (probably) fantastic new album already. Anddd, I'm surprised she's still going to release something in the UK. I have no Swedish language skills whatsoever but my instinct told me that Mikrofonkat meant 'microphone cord'. Does anyone know if I'm close? Or does it actually mean Me and My Microphone.

January 24, 201114 yr The English version of this song is OK, but I really like the original version X4c2xI4WGVE&feature=&p=8382704536541C14&index=0&playnext=1 Sounds better in non English but hopefully English version will chart.
January 25, 201114 yr Author Scott Mills seems to be playing it every week on Floorfillers, might be a good sign. He also played DJ Sava last Friday, I went nuts :P
February 5, 201114 yr Amazing. And I also prefer Mikrofonkåt. The Swedish language just adds more personality to it, I think...
February 14, 201114 yr So I noticed! I've ordered it from Nordic Music so it should be with me by the end of the week. In the meantime I'll download it after midnight when my internet isn't capped
February 15, 201114 yr Now don't be crazy. Of course not. BTW, the album is absolutly sh!te. What happened to her amazing style? Only Walk Alone does the album justice.
April 19, 201114 yr Signed to AATW for a UK release, I really believe that this can do a 'Cry For You' in the UK. I know Scandipop is largely ignored here but that's because it's rarely given a proper push. AATW are the best record company for these sorts of things as Radio 1 do tend to support them more often than not. So hopefully it'll be September's third hit here :D
