Gwyneth Paltrow is coming back for more “Glee.”

 

The Oscar winner will reprise her role as McKinley High’s favorite substitute teacher, Holly Holiday, for a second episode, Gwyneth revealed to Access Hollywood on Sunday during the press junket for her new film, “Country Strong.”

 

No word on when her second episode will be taped or air.

 

While Gwyneth was ecstatic to rejoin the cast, calling her “Glee” gig “the best job ever,” at least one of her co-stars is sure to be equally thrilled to have her back.

 

“Gwyneth Paltrow is a genius,” Matthew Morrison told Access in November after the actress’ first episode aired. “Who knew that she was such a triple threat? Great dancer, great singer, obviously a great actress — I just had the best time.”

 

In her first “Glee” go-around, Gwyneth performed a rousing version of Cee Lo Green’s hit, “Forget You,” then joined Matthew for a splashy mash-up of Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” and the timeless “Singin’ in the Rain.”

 

“Our set is kind of like a playground — especially [for]the ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ number,” Matthew said, of filming the aquatic-themed track with Gwyneth on a water-filled stage. “We were just having so much fun like, splashing each other, getting each other wet. It was fun!”

 

“Glee” will return with all new episodes following the Super Bowl, when Katie Couric will join the cast for a cameo.

Meh. I didn't like the episode she was in the first time round as it was quite dull, imo. Although I did like her character, so i'm hoping it'll be better than the first time she was on.

Well I look forward to her returning anyway. Vocally she was brilliant on 'Forget You' and Hollie was (to put it as generically as possible) a breath of fresh air to the show.

 

At one point I was actually willing Will to stay fired and be permanently replaced by her. SUCH WAS HER AWESOMENESS.

Meh her appearance was nothing special, April's return would be far superior.

Nah. Kristin Chenoweth's voice grates on me. It's really squeakyand apart from 'Alone' ( :wub: ) her songs are very nearly, always crap. But I think that's mainly down to not liking those sort of songs, as they're for a specific taste, imo. You'll either love it or won't and her voice is too horrible for me to appreciate them...

Her episode was far from being the best of the season so far, but I'd much rather see Holly again than April.

I loved Aprils first apperance, but her 2nd one episode was bloody awful.
