The acoustic performance of 'Promise This' was 100% proof that she is a crap live singer. :|

This. Sorry but how can you think that was a great performance?

Anyway was this the first time there's been official confirmation she might be doing US X Factor? She'd be mad not to do it, I just don't see how it would work though...

I could kind of understand why she wouldn't do X Factor US, especially if it'll conflict with the UK version. And the fact that she's had such big backlash with this year, she might just not want the added stress.
Great interview though.
Part's of the performance were a bit 'eeek' but she's got an amazing personality. :)
Yeah, I agree, great interview but the performances really weren't up to scratch :(.
How can people say her accoustic version of "Promise this" was awful ? :S It was great, and so were her vocals on this :o

I liked the performance, but she didn't perform the best bits of "Promise This"... the French parts.

And she really needs to let her hair down in an interview. Like, she makes everything seem so important and official. Can she not just be a trainwreck for 10 minutes??

Maybe me and Bert For Lashes are biased  Anyway, loved both performances, she hit the big notes well on TF I thought ^_^

Amazing performance of 'Promise This'. Loved the new arrangement, despite my disappointment when I thought she was going to go into the "alouetta" dance. :( Still brilliant though.

Loved the interview, I agree that she seems naturally sensitive but I do love everything about her. It was a very funny interview too, it'd be great to see her back on Chatty Man in the future! ^_^

'The Flood' performance wasn't great, but I did like it. I love the backdrops she has for when she performs it too. :) It's my 2nd favourite of her songs though, and one of my favourite songs this year so I'm not that bothered. :D

Naturally sensitive? HA. Didn't she once racially attack a nightclub toilet attendant?

YEAH I WENT THERE.

I really felt for her. She looked genuinely upset for whatever reason. Has she found out that 'The Flood' is actually flopping? She didn't seem herself tonight. Even though I still enjoyed the interview. The part where Alan was seeing whether she had time for anyone or anyone getting her "tu-tu" (HA!) when she shook her head, it gave me a little lump in my throat. I felt so bad for her.

Shame her performances weren't up to scratch either really :(

Loved the interview, they seemed to get along great together, it was very funny! :D Loved both of the performances too, hopefully it helps 'The Flood' climb up the chart!

Promise This (Acoustic):

The Flood:

Well, the performance of The Flood was MUCH better than RVF, but the backing singers were horrificly loud, possibly to drown out some of her.
Naturally sensitive? HA. Didn't she once racially attack a nightclub toilet attendant?

YEAH I WENT THERE.

Sad people like you keep bringing up that $h!t. We all do things we regret so leave it, And it wasnt racial she was cleared of that so if you are going to post $h!t research first.

Anyway the interview was brilliant. Haha Alan Carr was so cheeky. The gagging part had me in stiches :) I thought her performances were really good. At least she tried to sing live. She gets slagged off for miming and then criticized when she sings live. She cant win -_-

I do not know where to put this, But I know Cheryl Fans will like this :)

I actually really loved both of her performances, think she sounded pretty good

The second link posted above (for 'The flood') has speed up

The actual perforamance was 4 min long.
