Then select 'View' and tick 'popularity', alternatively, in the headings bar (Artist, Album, Time, etc), right click and select 'popularity'

Whats my name is good yes and catchy but pretty boring and repetative. But Cheryls is so full of sweeping emotion and heartwreching vocals. You ca not compare.

How can her vocals be heartwrenching when they’re autotuned to death?

 

Do you not know that autotune removes most of the emotion in a vocal, and when the machine is turned up as high as it has to be to make Cheryl sound in tune, it removes absolutely all emotion that may have been there initially.

A classic is a song that changed the course of music or at the very least embodied a particular musical scene/trend, created dozens of imitators etc. As such you can't truly say what songs are classics until at least a good few years after the song's release.

 

Needless to say, however, The Flood will not be one, and neither will any Cheryl Cole song at this point. Ditto for What's My Name?

Umm, overplay ≠ sheer musical impact of a song. Why on earth would we leave these kind of things in the hands of clueless radio DJs? :huh:

 

There's a difference between something being remembered and being a classic. FFTL may be the former, but it will never be the latter.

 

And symbolic to who?! I would imagine most couples would choose something a bit more mushy to "symbolise" their relationship, not some autotuned pop pap.
