dont worry about tinie he will peak top 5 in a couple of weeks.

why do people dload so many xmas sonmgs on xmas eve and not before??their rise is mentsal today.wonder if it will affect their chart position or is it too late?

I already made a post mentioning this in response to another thread, but I think it's because people download them because they want them for music to play on Christmas Day in the background, rather than because they want them for their iPod (which is probably what the people who download them earlier do it for). So it makes sense for them to wait until the last minute, in that case.

Of course, this is just my own theory, so I'll be interested to hear anybody else's.

And Merry Christmas to everyone here, btw! :D This will probably be the last time I'll pop in until Monday (not that anyone would notice, but still!)

wow at the Lonely Island- I haven't heard it yet, but I loved On a Boat and Jizzed in my pants, so I hope this can get them their first hit :D

We listened to Jizzed in my Pants at school once. Everybody seemed to like it, even the teacher! :o

"I Just Had Sex" doing well, when was it added? #10 on US iTunes now and they've never gotten a bigger hit than #56 before officially over there! Hope it at least makes top 40 here, it's an abomination "I'm On A Boat" didn't :(

IJHS has been on the (UK) iTunes feed since last night so I assume that's when it was added.

It went as high as #7 on US iTunes I think

Why is "Oh Santa!" not doing anything? I wonder if any Mariah will see a boost tonight?

hasnt got too much promo, only video play.but mariah has so many christmas songs on mtv people maybe think its an old song.alos its poor compared to her other xmas songs.

wonder how much sales are for the xmas songs this week.and for the surge in the past 24 hours.still dont buy the theory about people listening to xmas songs on xmas day and only dloading them today!!people really are idiots!!

Yeh, I cant understand why people are downloading Christmas songs today. I stop listening to festive songs after Christmas Eve and I love all things Christmas.

I have a bad feeling Invincible isn't going to go top 10 :(

That will end Tinie's top 10 streak :(

invincible will easily go top 10 imo.its only out on monday when the 2nd version is released and all the xmassy songs fall.it might get top 15 this week, top 10 the next and even top 5 in the first week of jan.it all depends on when brunos dload is released in jan - i think it will be available from 1st jan.

I hope it does.

I don't want Tinie's top 10 run to be stopped and I want him to do well with this song.

As if you just called "Oh Santa!" poor! And if people can't tell the difference between an old Mariah xmas song and the current ones, well there's sommang wrong with them!

This may have been posted already, but does anyone know why Planet Funk's Chase The Sun is at no.296 randomly?

Has it been used in an advert or something?

I don't know, but even something as simple as a play Radio 1 has been known to get songs top 200 on iTunes before.

EDIT: I checked for you. :)

It was, indeed, played on Radio 1 yesterday afternoon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00wlgxx#p00cybds

i just think the majority of people arent as tuned into the charts and music as people on here and there are so many mariah videos on mtv, plus oh santa doesnt look overly modern in terms of video if you know what i mean!!

No way Tinie will miss top 10! Probably not this week but first week of 2011 it will definitely climb!

Bruno Mars doesn't want to leave top 20! Still top 20 :o
