I've finally caught up and listened to some of these - Nero sounds like a soundtrack from a Sega game from the 90s :o really love it on first listen, Hello is really good too ^_^

 

Matt seems to be showing some form of longevity- he's certainly not plummeting like Joe was this time last year

That's what I thought but it's had no effect at all on any other songs. Not even the #1 (I Gotta Feeling) has seen any form of boost. It was about #47 before the show and has now fallen to #50. SOF was in the low 70s at the same time IIRC.

 

Anyway, all the KOL songs have fallen a bit (SOF #51 and #142, US #76) now. Although Nero have also fallen to #17 so maybe my feed has just reverted.

i really like the combined one you do! plus you can kinda tell where the bars are when uncombined anyway :)

Muse's songs have incredible longevity in the itunes chart overall even though their initial chart runs are bad :o - I guess their just getting the gift card effect even though they aren't 2010 songs

Really pleased to see It's Okay by Cee-Lo Green in the iTunes top 30 now, the chorus is massive in that song. I would like to see Cheryl Cole do a little better - I'm not even really a fan of her music but it is one of her better songs.

I meant like, the highest version of Only Girl is at #11, and Olly Murs is at #10. Only Girl is obviously top 10 combined, but for it to get the top 10 effect (i.e. be on the front page of iTunes), Only Girl needs to overtake Thinking of Me, and a disadvantage of combining the pop bars is that we have no idea where Only Girl's pop bar actually lies. All I know is that it's somewhere between the #12's and Olly's bar, which could mean Only Girl is about to get on the front page of iTunes, or it doesn't stand a chance.

 

But obviously, combining them is good to provide a better idea of the sales.
