Top 10 at the moment is something like this:

1. Rihanna feat. Drake

2. Matt Cardle

3. The Black Eyed Peas

4. Ellie Goulding

5. Katy Perry

6. Rihanna

7. Katy B

8. Far East Movement

9. David Guetta feat. Rihanna

10. Cee Lo Green

Cheryl just outside top 20 then. Her single version should keep climbing now it's being promoted on iTunes home page, plus I assume she has a physical, so could scrape top 15?
28 & 100 for miss Cheryl Cole in her official week? That would be an amazing flop especially if she peak lower than Nadine

She's already matched Nadine's peak.

Matt is holding up obviously much better than Joe but also a bit better than Alexandra:

The Alex pop bars were posted at 5:56pm on 5 Jan 2009, which is the same stage after Hallelujah's release that When We Collide is currently at (well, a few hours ahead, but still). It fell to #5 the next day. The 'same stage WWC is at now' would be 6 Jan but Matt released on Monday while Alexandra released on Sunday so WWC is a day behind

His popbar may be larger than Alexandra's popbar at the same stage, but that's mainly due to the fact 'Just dance' was so big I think, I don't think it will really translate into sales for Matt over Alex.

'The Flood' #30 and #83 now.

If she doesn't get top20, it will teach her good for not releasing 'Yeah yeah'. It better be the next single.

The gap between Alex and #2 is bigger than the gap batween Matt and #3 and gaps are smaller when there's a bigger song at #1 (JD vs. WMN?)

And I'd say 'The Time' and 'Your Song' are about as big now as 'Run' and 'Broken Strings' were back then. 'Just Dance' was obviously bigger than 'What's My Name?' though

but at this stage Just Dance had no where near as much sales as 420k ? where What's My Name does.

Possibly because it had been available for less than 2 weeks.

Give it a rest Bray it makes no difference as to who is ahead at this stage but who sells more overall.

It looks like nothing is going Top 10 and Hello will probably not go Top 20 at all.

Well Matt obviously won't outsell Alexandra as Alexandra had the closure of Woolworth's on her side. :P I'm just saying Matt is holding up better on iTunes.

How did the closure of Woolworths benefit Alexandra? Her physicals not being sold by probably the biggest music-selling shop at the time, would have weakened her sales considerably, seeing as at least half of the overall sales are from physicals, also I thought it would of given her a bigger percentage of downloads compared to other X-Factor winning artists.

Closing sales of Woolworth's were selling her physical at really low prices IIRC which boosted her sales significantly

Oh!

I think with both versions combined and the physical release it will get top 20, but I wish she had promoted it a bit more.

White Lies up to #34, if anyone's interested. That would match the peak of "To Lose My Life", and the entry position of "Fairwell to the Fairground" but given those two came out two years ago "Bigger Than Us" will have higher sales - hopefully that should give the album 30k+ opening sales and a top 3 position.

I'm not saying she wouldn't have sold well without them :P But I don't think it would have been a million seller without the Woolworth's sales
