The remix of Katy Perry's E.T including Tinie Tempah has not long leaked onto the internet and it's slated to be her official 4th single worldwide. The TT version is only being released in UK (possibly Europe) and not in the US.

 

What do we think? Another #1?

Are you sure the version with Tinie is the actual single, or a remix? Because often artists have a guest vocalist on a remix, but it's not the actual remix they release as the single. Examples include Jennifer Lopez featuring on the official remix of Dynamite, Nicki Minaj featuring on the official remix of In My Head, etc.

Fantastic collabs, and "official remix"s, but nobody can buy them. This is great and everything, but if the version with Tinie isn't available for download, it won't effect the chart.

 

Nobody can buy Replay by Iyaz ft. Flo Rida. Nobody can buy Nothin' On You by B.o.B. ft. Big Boi. Nobody can buy Forget You by Cee-Lo ft. 50 Cent. I could go on and on. How do we know this isn't the same?

This is her best song imo (the solo version) :wub: The Tinie version is great too :heart: I went for top 5, but it could probably top 3/no. 1. Even without Tinie, I hold the same prediction. I doubt this is the single version. Nicki Minaj is on a remix of Whip My Hair (which is better than the Willow on her own version imo) but the single version is just Willow. Could just be a remix.

To be honest though, I've never understood why artists do all these remixes, and never release and/or promote them. Some are actually really good, and they would get so many extra sales... Look at how much that version of Gettin' Over with Fergie sold when it was released as a single!

Absolutely love 'E.T.' as it is (by FAR Katy's best song imo), his rap really isn't needed. At all.

Amazing song, but Tinie's rap just really isn't needed at all tbh.

I've never been one of the biggest fans of E.T., but I'm relieved that she's going for it over the rumoured Peacock, if this indeed turns out to be her next release! Leave that novelty tat on the album! Tinie's rap is ok but he's the last person I expected to feature on a Katy Perry single :lol:

i love this song wow katy's album is quite amazing i dont think ive ever loved every song on a album until hers, theres always 1 song i dont like

Perhaps they might get a US rapper to rap on it instead, or just use the original version as the single for the US?

There was actually two!! A song called Syllables, with Jay-Z and a bunch of other rappers! You've got to listen to, the hook is absolutely hilarious!!!!!!!! :rofl:

 

Also a song called Topless, which wasn't all that tbh. Both have been uploaded onto youtube by a few users now.

 

There's going to be a lot more Eminem leaks over the next few days too... But they're old tracks being leaked. I think some of them will be tracks that didn't make his cancelled album, Relapse 2.

 

Another Katy Perry leak is expected soon too; except this track is newer, it's a track that didn't make Teenage Dream (the album). Exciting times! :w00t: It's called Part Of Me. There's already a lot of info about the song if you google it. It's just that barely anybody has heard it yet. :D
