Telephone will win.

I think Everybody Hurts could come last tbh. I can't think of anybody who would've given it positive points.

34 / Shout For England – Shout / -30 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-1-3-15-40-62

So 2010 bought us the FIFA World Cup once again, and with it came the naturally delusional English optimism fuelled by the tabloid media and the fairly awful single in support of ‘our boys’. But it’s the only track that’s finished this rundown on minus points!

33 / Helping Haiti – Everybody Hurts / 60 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-1-9-26-42

So with this track, my usual scepticism continues. 2010 saw the tragic earthquake unfold in Haiti, on which Simon Cowell naturally jumped on the bandwagon to make a few quid, gathering together a few b-list singers to put out a standard god awful charity cover single.

I quite liked 'Shout', though I'm clearly alone. 'Everybody Hurts' is nice enough, but of course it couldn't ever out-do the incredible REM original, or come close for that matter.

Who gave EH positive points?

TBH I liked Shout  for a couple of weeks. I even charted it at one point.

32 / The X Factor Finalists 2010 - Heroes / 240 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-1-7-14-22

And so completes the set. Somehow, this song managed to earn 240 points, I’m not really sure how, but basically everything I said for Helping Haiti applies. Simple rule, if you care so much about a charity, donate money to it, don’t donate to the Simon Cowell Pocket fund.

31 / Dizzee Rascal – Dirtee Disco / 340 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-4-12-22-35-41-47-61-62-66

So Dizzee Rascal’s new track this year goes to prove he has fully gone down the Black Eyed Peas route, in his ability to release any old $h!t and have the public lick it out of his hand.

agree with all the above so far. ^_^

30 / JLS – The Club Is Alive / 460 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-7-9-16-23-32-39-53-63

$h!te. Enough said.

29 / Iyaz - Replay / 740 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-1-2-3-6-8-13-24-29-32-30-31-29-34-50-58-65-75-69

And so here we have Iyaz, the perfect example of how much in the R&B scene in 2010 has completely blurred into one.

Am I the only one here who likes "Dirtee Disco"? "Shout" was a good song until England were knocked out, now I don't like it much. "Heroes" was the best X Factor Finalists single to come out.

I hate "The Club Is Alive" but "Replay" was in my top 5 songs of the year. Why is it so hated a great song. Anyway, predictable chart so far

28 / Black Eyed Peas – The Time (Dirty Bit) / 810 POINTS (more minus tens)

Original chart run: 11-7-11-6-1-4-3

So, like Dizzee, The Peas came back this year with a half arsed attempt at a song covering ‘The Time Of My Life’ from Dirty Dancing in the chorus and as usual, the UK laps it up despite a p*** poor X Factor performance which actually secured it #1.

27 / JLS – Love You More / 810 POINTS (less minus tens)

Original chart run: 1-3-10-14-23-19

So finally in the countdown, we come to a song I actually rather like! Such a shame Buzzjack is so hard on boybands :snif:

I thought BEP's X Factor performance was brilliant! :o

I think Dirtee Disco is just pure DIRGE!

26 / Scouting For Girls – This Ain’t A Love Song / 970 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-1-2-5-7-11-17-28-31-37-44-53-56-56-58-54-47-52-58-68

I have genuinely no idea how this happened... but it did.

25 / Matt Cardle – When We Collide / 1080 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-1-1

Up next, we have this years standard X Factor karaoke single, whereby a decent song is taken and made to sound like Westlife which the British public then decide to lap up. A WELL EVERYBODIES HEARD ABOUT THE BIRD

Hopefully top 10 for Diana, I think Rihanna's got this in the bag though :)
California Gurls, Telephone and Only Girl for Top 3! (The only good #1's of 2010). :drama:

24 / Ne-Yo – Beautiful Monster / 1490 POINTS

Original chart run: 1-5-5-9-13-23-21-28-33-41-52-56-56-56

I’m not going to lie, I have never heard this song, so feel free to form your own opinions ^_^

23 / Usher - OMG / 1540 POINTS (more minus tens)

Original chart run: 13-8-2-1-2-2-2-3-6-12-11-6-11-15-17-20-23-22-27-31-35-41-50-48-60-60-66-70-63-35-47-54-67

At 23 we has ‘OMG’, a collab between Usher and Will.He.Is, which let’s be fair is a bitch of a grower.
