August 8, 201113 yr Do I hear some Flux Pavilion in Who Gon Stop Me?? Yeah, me too! I love the song. It's brilliant! :o Although I think a lot of the Americans are a bit like WTF?
August 9, 201113 yr Yeah, me too! I love the song. It's brilliant! :o Although I think a lot of the Americans are a bit like WTF? Yes, for the most part we are. It's getting a decent amount of cherrypicking, though. Maybe we're finally catching on!
August 9, 201113 yr Author I have to say H.A.M. was the worst song on the album. Why that went as the first single to preview a set like this is beyond me. :o It's one of my favourites on the album! Definitely top 5. The last minute especially is just phenomenal.
August 9, 201113 yr I'd also like to include That's My Bitch to thelist of the highlights. The non-rap sections of it are rather incredible.
August 9, 201113 yr :o It's one of my favourites on the album! Definitely top 5. The last minute especially is just phenomenal. I do like that last minute, but on a set like this it really does stand out as the least spectacular or memorable song. It never really stuck for me, whereas songs like Why I Love You and Niggas in Paris stuck close to immediately.
August 9, 201113 yr Other than the singles, No Church in the Wild has been played twice on Radio 1, and once on Radio 1Xtra, and Who Gon Stop Me have been played on Radio 1 once, and twice on Radio 1Xtra, and Lift Off has been played on Capital.
August 9, 201113 yr Author 'Lift Off' is one of my least favourites I think. It's alright, but doesn't really seem to go anywhere and Beyonce's part grates on me majorly.
August 9, 201113 yr I absolutely can non wait for this album to come out. I know that lyrically and production wise, it should be one of the best albums this year (other than maybe Lil Wayne and Drake's albums). I had the pleasure of listening to the snippets earlier this week, and I have to say that I was pleased and cannot wait to hear the album in its entirety.
August 9, 201113 yr Albums rate: Church In The Wild - 9.0 Lift Off - 10.0 Niggas In Paris - 9.5 Otis - 7.5 Gotta Have It - 8.5 New Day - 8.0 Thats My Bitch - 9.0 Welcome To The Jungle - 7.5 Who Gon Stop Me - 10.0 Murder To Excellence - 8.5 Made In America - 9.5 Why I Love You - 9.5 Illest Motherf***er Alive - 9.5 Primetime - 7.5 The Joy - 7.0 H.A.M - 7.5 Fantastic album. I have to say the two singles were probably two of the weakest tracks, and apart from 'Illest...', the bonus tracks weren't anything to write home about (despite still being rather good). Apart from that, everything else is outstanding. I agree that it is quite similar to 'Dark Twisted Fantasy', but that is one of the best hip hop albums in years, so anything along those lines is well recieved by me.
August 10, 201113 yr Anyone know who the female vocalist/vocalists are on That's My Bitch? When she says 'live my life', it sounds so much like La Roux, however the rest of the chorus doesn't, so mabye its La Roux and someone else?

August 10, 201113 yr Citroen have already jumped on the bangwagon and used Why I Love You on their new ad..
August 10, 201113 yr Already?! They got that out quick! Edit: Ahh i think it's the original Cassius song they're using actually. DISAPPOINTING. Edited August 10, 201113 yr by 152chris
August 10, 201113 yr Really like this (unusually for me), very consistent from beginning to end and much more varied than I'd anticipated it being. Love the soul samples and the fact the tracks don't outstay their welcome.

August 12, 201113 yr I'm halfway through this album now. All sounds pretty good, the production that is. I'm not a big fan of rap but I just had to hear this. Track 02 is definitely a skip moment though, I can't stand Beyoncé's voice regardless of the production.
August 12, 201113 yr I think the Otis video is good personally. It looks like it would've been really fun to shoot. I've seen it posted on Facebook a few times today, so it's getting people talking and advertising the album.
