It's nowt game-changing, but it's a pretty good buzz track. The actual lead single needs to be a bit more focused, obviously.

As for Nerina, has she already forgotten her contribution to Aphrodite? I suppose it's nothing to do with her husband with her husband having songs rejected for this album. Not at all...

Very excited for her second Album.

'Hands' was the anthem to my Summer holiday in 2009. :D

That's beautiful of her..isn't she? i just read a news about her new album, Beginning to flourish.

It's amazing

The new clip is good but the Michael Woods track is AMAZING. That needs to be the first single proper
will the amazing 'Shake' have a radio edit & music video????

Any news on this? It's coming in the Summer I guess, but anything on producers, collaborators?
She's got a new single out, Every Night I Say A Prayer, for Record Store Day and she's doing a live performance at Rough Trade East, plus a gig at XOYO in May :D

It is nice to know she isn't dead. I like her music but it is such a shame as an individual she is so incredibly unpleasant.
What is so unpleasant about this FABULOUS woman, Jake? I can't wait to hear that new Record Store Day single (though there seems to be like a hundred different ones this year!), has it surfaced yet? Shake was pretty good in Radio Edit form. :D

Unpleasant in that I've met her a few times and she isn't a particularly nice woman? Very much full of herself and quite rude.

I think it's a great little pop track. Good to see her back, hope it's a hit for her.

Tweeted her the link to this thread, she replied saying "I'm nice i promise".

I believe you Bootsy. :D

Tbh someone else pulled me up on this the other day, but it did make me think - why is it so important that an artist is a nice person? An artist can be creative, innovative, fabulous, etc etc but if they don't give puppies to starving children in Africa they get written off as a bitch, female artists in particular. I guess in the age of social networking we have closer relationships with artists than ever before, but you very rarely get to know a person who's in the potlight, and they get judged based on a couple of actions. See Simon Cowell for more :kink:

What a 'TEACHER, TEACHER' moment if I ever saw one!
