I've heard that they only count physical sales and anything from iTunes or anything like that doesn't count for the official chart.

This era has been very successful for her in France!

 

Really hoping that when she goes to the UK she can pump up the sales enough to hit 100k+

Britney Spears tops Atlanta radio airplay with ‘I Wanna Go’

Britney Spears has the most popular song in Atlanta this week.

 

A couple years ago, Britney Spears’ career was in serious jeopardy, but her comeback has been impressive. She now has the most popular song in Atlanta radio this week with “I Wanna Go.”

 

She is relying on heavy airplay, though, on just two stations: Wild 105.7/96.7 (118) and Q100 (87). Star 94 has chosen not to spin the song.

 

In comparison, a few weeks ago, former No. 1 Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” was played on five stations. Lil Wayne’s “How To Love” lasted just two weeks and has fallen off sharply the past few days.

 

There are very few consensus big hits period at the moment across more than two or three stations.
