January 23, 201114 yr 'Aphrodite' is easily one of the worst on the album, imo. Along with 'Everything Is Beautiful'. Although tbf that's not to say they're necessarily bad tracks, just the worst of a good bunch... 'All The Lovers', 'Cupid Boy' or 'Too Much' FTW! :cheer:

January 23, 201114 yr Aphrodite is easily the most personal song for Kylie in the last decade. In fact, lyrically Aphrodite is the best album so far since Impossible Princess.

January 23, 201114 yr 'too much' is just brilliant, I don't really know how you can say there's nothing to say about it. it's such an energectic, euphoric song. calvin harris is also a good thing. should have won :( but I've got to say I'm happy it made it this high. I'm also happy that 'aphrodite' is low, it's completely diabolical. :puke:

Seems quite popular, even with Nick who gave it a 5, not great but still pretty good. My Mum thinks it sounds slightly Madonna-ish and I agree with her, it has a vibe of Madge to it.
January 24, 201114 yr 'Too Much' is alright, nothing special. Not a patch on their 'In My Arms' collaboration by far. 'Illusion' is pleasant enough, 'Closer' is very mediocre and my second least favourite behind 'Can't Beat The Feeling'.

Anyhoo....highest non-single track and easy to see why, bloody awesome track. For me it is a cross between Cherry Bomb and Rippin' Up The Disco, a dance pop tune with a rock-ish edge to it. The vocals are very similar to Cherry Bomb. I get shivers when she purrs out "i'm adicteeeeed" and the "sky rocket to mars..." bits :heart:
